That’s my impression too. He’s committing to all this on screen so his aspirations are crystal clear. If he grows and builds the club as he’s promising to then I for one will have absolutely no problem with it. The football landscape is changing massively, even at our level, and I like what he is proposing. There’s still that one nagging doubt in my mind though - why does he want to commit hundreds of millions of pounds to HTFC when the chance of a return on that investment is so vanishingly small! And getting smaller by the day with the increasing wealth of Premier League and the teams relegated from it. It's a good question and one that someone should ask him, if they've not already and I've missed it. However, he seems to be worth a staggering amount of money, a good few Billion if reports of him selling his stake in Sacramento Kings for £6.7bn are to be believed. If that is an indication of his wealth, then £200, £300 or £400m over the next 5-10 years isn't really gonna make a massive dent. And he's probably not looking for a RIO. It's more likely the case of, I've money to spend, what can I spend it on. It's the fact he seemed surprised the club was losing money and talk of sustainability that worries me. Hoping he's prepared to 'lose' a lot of money otherwise championship club ownership isn't for him. Obviously you want to do it as sustainably as possible, and it has to be to meet FFP, but ultimately he needs to be happy to write off at least £10M annually. He may think it's a small price to pay to build something special around the club and the community and be within touching distance of the big time.

I've been a bit sceptical about these things, but more in respect of the trying to do a Netflix thing.
But there are things in these last couple where it seems he's under no illusion that it's a long term Project. It still feels like his team are on a massive learning curve, so we should be wary about how quick that can happen, but if taken on face value (which is all 99.9% of us can do on here), he appears to be in it for the long term.
Definitely a bit of ego going on, but that's to be understood really. I'm sure Kev will want to achieve PL status under his tenure, but he'll need a lot of cogs to turn in the right direction for that.
Nice to see some old timers at that supporters meeting as well.
Mids? Polish Hippy & Kosi?

All will be revealed in January….what sort of investment he is willing to make! If there’s one thing us Town fans know, it’s never expect a productive January window. January is all about short term requirements. We’ll be far better in the longterm investing wisely in the summer.

Jesus in the same league on the same points and we act like we are conference and they’re man fucking city. No wonder no one turns up You didn't watch Swansea match last year then?

Writing £10mil plus per season is something that will be fully expected at least for the first 2-3seasons the logn term plan is could mean much more than this with various investments. However this is still a business and if the plans are acheived in full Kevin will not care about what he has put into the club in the first 3+ seasons. A sustainable club with high value is very possible with the correct infrustructure, big investment is required and I am told will happen to acheive this however. - Investment in Youth devlopment to produce some higher value players to play for HTAFC and also to sell for a profit. This has begun but its a 10year plus plan - Investment in the stadium, owner the stadium or a stadium is key to any long term planning. - Investment in the area close to the ground, lots of talks lots of possible options, Kevin is big into property devlopment and this could be the biggest income on his investments. - Premier league football, sustained premier league football will give us the oppertunity of new investers (if required) and new sponsors, we need to plan to stay up once if we get up. - Commercial department and revenue coming into the club must be expanded, this will include lots of aspects and an increase in season tickets will have to be considered, the ownership are aware any increase must come with a better performing team (January is a big start to this). There is so much work to do, but with the correct people and backing this is all possible, we might need a bit of luck along the way. I am confident we can look forward to a very exciting future.

If not what makes you think it's doable? If sustainable means being successful whilst keeping within FFP rules then that's doable. If it means not losing millions every season then I'd argue that's impossible, the supporting evidence being that no other club has achieved it. The football business model involves the owner losing a fortune annually unfortunately. I guess when you're a billionaire it's not always about making a profit though. Perhaps it can give tax breaks as well as being an enjoyable hobby. What else is he gonna spend it on?! When you build something special, historic and something that can benefit a whole community and give back then I guess it could be considered to be worth every penny.

This is not all about making a profit and for sure some losses can be a good thing for a wealthy business person especially if its enjoyable at the same time. However look at it another way and please note all values are just examples. Say 5 years KN invests as below. 20mil purchase 20mil purchase of stadium and other businesses around 20mil per season on playing squad and loss per season. over 5 years thats 140mil In 5 years time what is the value of the club that is in the premier league, a structure to survive in the premier league, owns its own stadium and property around the stadium, had a great youth set up, is commercially in a good place, has a decent squad. I would suggest a value of that club would be in excess of £140mil, now lots of big ifs, but KN I am sure has the funds and skills to make this a reality maybe not in 5 years, maybe it takes 10 years who knows but i am confident it is possible, and done correctly if he wants a return on investment it could be done. I also get this is all going to be very difficult and maybe it costs more to do, maybe it doesnt happen at all, but I would rather have the hope that these targets can be reached because if they are we will all have a football club in a beeter postion when he leaves than when he took over, by the way I believe DH also acheived this but this was on a lower scale League 1 - championship, Dean for many reasons would not have invested the amounts needed to take this to the next level, we need to wait and see if KN will invest the required, so far I can only believe he will give it a good go.

I, and there is no disrespect intended saying this, would prefer to hear that from him but perhaps he is cautious about over promising and under delivering. Right now we are suffering game to game and although some people can't usually wait for Xmas for Town fans we can't wait until January. It's blatantly obvious that January is pretty important for the first year of the Nagle era. It doesn't need wild spending but it does need realistic recruitment that offers DM significantly more than he has now. If DM us supported then he cannot complain about being under scrutiny. To be fair to Mr Nagle, and I've said this before, I have heard nothing that worries me. By the same token I am yet to see or hear anything that excites or gives me significant reason to hope for a much better future. That all said I think he's aware and listens so I'll give him the space he needs to put his identity on the club and plan in action. In the meantime I expect some committed but turgid football until anything changes. If that football keeps getting points then it keeps our metaphorical heads above water, or perhaps more accurately Mr Nagle and his pals afloat. I continue to watch with interest, and await my invitation to afternoon tea 🤣.

It will take some time for sure and some will struggle to get on board until some real intent is shown, this would be good to see in January or at very least a start to it. I am quite sure some mistakes will also be made along the way, however as long as the intent to improve is for all to see, then I think most will be happy. Its a little too early to say for sure but we should at least have some hope. I hope we have something better to watch in next two home games, I will be watching the next two games on a stream as grabbing some much needed winter sun for two weeks from Thursday. Maybe when KN is over in January he will sort an afternoon tea meeting with some fans, although I think you have more chance of a meeting at Marstons for some fried chicken !

It's an interesting watch. Fake as hell yet KN still comes across as very genuine - I like the bloke. He's smart and although he might be naive/have a lot to learn he will bring a lot of knowledge/new ways to look at things.
Think Edwards has a bit of something about him too.
Will never understand grown men wanting a photo with some business man from over the pond though

Even when you get to the PL it just gets more expensive. All of the TV money and more goes on wages. Players suck all of the money, the more you make, the more they take. You can't get much better run that Brighton and they're about 300mil in debt I think. They'd better just hope the owner doesn't get bored, lose his money or get run over by a bus. Football clubs at that level aren't financially sustainable.

I have not looked at the numbers but you kind of prove my point above, Brighton lets say are 300mil in debt (to the owner) and are possibly worth 300mil now with there status and squad. If the owner sold the club for say 300mil it would pay the debt off (back to the owner), he has had fun over the years had a good way to lose some profits from other buisness (tax efficient) and then got back his money owed. We also have a very wealthy owner, who also has some very nice connections should they be required down the road. I also dont believe we need to go as crazy as Brighton with the spending but we could be a quite sustainable investment with the correct backing and success.

People seem to forget that part of the Brighton debt to their owner includes a new stadium and training facility. They flip players year after year for massive profit. Brilliantly run club which Hoyle, incorrectly, used as an example of a club 'blowing their brains out' in the premier league. Just look at them now.

All very well till you appoint Jan Siewart who makes your players look worthless and you have to give them away. Siewert is the last man you can blame for them players. He was in a lose lose situation.

Wonder what he would have been like / is like if / when he finds the right club / level?....some of the results were not million miles off the mark despite on paper being awful......

There are some cynical, hard hearted, uninformed and unrealistic posters on here but this takes the biscuit The players couldn't stand Siewert I bet he couldn't stand some of them. Billy big bollocks attitudes from players who were already looking for an exit. Downed tools, feigned injuries and just saw their lucrative contracts out. The Terrier spirit had gone from some before Siewert got the impossible gig

He was in a lose lose situation. Exactly. That season, Wagner was just as bad, yet there is this myth that we were only rubbish under Siewert. Statistically, obviously he's one of the worst managers, but all the other worst managers were losing to Preston, Rotherham and Wigan whereas he was losing to Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool 😂

Some people seem to conveniently forget that.
