And already there's posts on the summer thread saying how underwhelmed people are. Numerous posts saying how we desperately need a right back, sign a right back and still unhappy? How many good reports did we get about Lee Nicholls, the reserve keeper from MK Dons? I thought people would have learnt from that before decrying an inbound Terrier.  |

He played against us in the 1-1 draw in 2017. He is 24 , if you look at 51 apperances since he was what 17/18 when he signed his first pro contract. It isn't that much is it, they keep loaning him out Why?  it seems cheap as chips therefore it will do. If our budget is that limited then , it worries the hell out of me and other fans. |

Give the lad a chance, we're clearly skint (don't think i've ever known a club be bought and have less money to spend than before). Its a solid addition, not many are going to want to come and be backup right back/rotational. Think its a good addition personally that could be a permanent relatively cheap at the end of the season. Seems he can also cover RCB too.

We need striker and probably a creative player. We've signed a back up GK and a full back. No doubt we needed those positions but you can understand people being frustrated with the season being just over a week away.

I'm the complete opposite, if there's a strong opinion a player is crap it's usually the case, works if they think he's good too. I don't remember any exceptions. Signing cast offs from our rivals basically, disappointing. The only consolation being he is just cover for Turton so no point breaking the bank. If he was one of a few more ambitious signings it probably wouldn't be so underwhelming. Zzzzzzzz |

My concern is that he has had a serious knee injury,and as a loan player,are we just there to get him fit,and then he goes back to Stoke.But if he is fit enough to start playing,with Turton out beggars can,t be choosers

Awaiting comments from our good friend Chadders... I’ve always liked him. Local lad ,Came in when we were in the Prem and looked the real deal Career seemed to fade after a good start and there were rumours that he was out on the town a bit too much. Did well in the states I believe but none of the umpteen managers we’ve had in the past three years seem to fancy him He’s still young and he’s definitely good enough at this level I think he do well under Colin |

I think this is a decent signing.
Gives us cover whilst Turton is out and once he's back, there's genuine competition for the RB spot.
Could / Should also allow us to send Brodie Spencer out on Loan, which would be a great step in his development.

MK Dons fans were saying he was a good keeper who didn’t fit the system of playing it out from the back, whereas the comments of fans of Edwards former clubs are overwhelmingly negative. I don’t think it really matters as long as he’s a backup. He also has a long throw so maybe Warnock wants to utilise that if we’re chasing a game. Hudlin and Edwards double sub? |

Koroma was a kid, he started well but we struggled as a team and his game went downhill. He returned and the atmosphere suited him as did the boss and his game returned. The questions you need to ask on us bringing in a right back, how many of a required standard were available to us or would come here?? The answer may be a few, a couple or just one?? Until someone tells me in plain English how we can be so badly off in this window, then I am finding it hard to make any real comment on recruitment and outgoings? ?? |

I'm not just on about fans of other clubs. How many posts do you remember seeing going on about signing the reserve MK Dons keeper? I remember loads. Even after it was pointed out several times that there was a contract dispute and he was regarded quite well by a few Wigan fans. There HAVE been some positive posts about the new lad from Stoke fans (including chadders51), but as someone pointed out above how many good reviews would JK or ST have got off us in Feb/March? |
