Last season town were rubbish for 85%. Only a miracle from Warnock managed to get this league one squad playing in time to rescue us. Begs the question now Neil won’t comeback and with arguably a worst squad this year than last is that it now? It feels it is zero investment from the board and a manager who is tactically inept struggling already.
In my opinion are only option to keep us up we pushed out so I’ve come to terms that league one is going to happen and it probably should have last season. We got offered hope, a last chance saloon with NW keeping us up and threw it in the bin. Shambolic.

Depends if Moore is still here come January.

But where do we go post Moore? In my opinion you have to try go abroad and get somebody who might inspire the players with a totally new way of playing.

Last night was shite but we've lost two games in nine, we'll still pick up points. For some reason people seem to be acting like we won't get another point again all season.

On the bright side....we're only 22 points behind Leicester. Get Rhodes back, and we'll soon close that gap....;-)

You’d think we were 10 points adrift at foot of the table the way some people are reacting. Some very poor performances recently but if we can limp to January around the position we are now, allow the coaching team time to do what they need to do, and make serious investments in the next window, I can see us finishing at least around where we are now.

But will it be enough points, can't see it couldn't get a shot on target against massive who can't buy a win, lucky against a poor QPR, come up against anyone distinctly average and we struggle. Draws are not going to keep us up on their own. Hope we can muggle on to Jan but who says we will invest and invest in the right areas. Think most people are alarmed at the rate of the drop off and what looks like no cohesive style or direction on the pitch.

Getting rid of the most experienced manager in the country who saved us last season is the most crass, ridiculous and self harming decision I have witnessed in my 44 years watching Town.
Obviously I want us to stay up but last night's performance is the worst I've seen since the Malcolm McDonald days back in the late 1980s.
I have a feeling we'll be back in Div 3 in May. This new chairman gives me no confidence whatsoever. I'm not on Twitter but his postings there after the Norwich game were beyond puerile and utterly self defeating.

Doesn't matter who's in charge if we don't get a Championship standard RB and LB were fucked. We'll see on Saturday as I fully expect they'll be rinsed by those bastards. None of what we have are close, maybe the injured Turton at a push.
Striker also a must as my god we're poor up top.

There's no get out of jail card this season. The only way to avoid relegation will be to panic buy the players we should have bought in the summer and pay over inflated fees. It will probably also need a new coaching team. Problem is so far KN has been reluctant to spend any money on players, allegedly due to some mysterious restrictions surrounding FFP but not FFP but something to do with budgets and new owners... maybe. Two full backs, two strikers and a ball playing midfielder ought to give us a chance. There's a striker at Blackpool doing ok and we're playing Harrat, Hudlin and a winger from Mainz up front. was Cartwright thinking?!

Moore is struggling to get this team clicking...we were rubbish at Brum, poor at Wednesday, poor for 70 minutes v QPR and rubbish last night...He's not seeming to be a deep thinker with solutions for problems, and I still don't know what his plan for us is..we play 3-5-2...then 4-4-2, then 4-5-1...often in the same game...but the thing for me is the players, when you watch them they're running all over the place like broken wind up toys..sometimes they bump into each other...they look totally clueless as to what they're supposed to be doing.. There's frustration in there too, some back biting at each other I saw last night...and the longer this goes on Moore will simply lose the changing room and discontent will set in...I reckon he has until xmas to find what works, otherwise he's out.

People need to stop letting emotion judge the performance, that goes for when we win and lose. Last night was a crap defeat, add it to the list of many previous crap defeats. But no way was that as bad a performance as many on here are making out. It was the fact that the stadium started emptying after the 4th goal. Another night we could have nicked that when you think of the chances we had, they just took their chances, aided by some abject defending at set pieces and our defence not being switched on early. When we went 2-0 up on Sat, you could see that QPR were a bit shell shocked, but they took the game by the scruff of the neck and almost got something out of the game. Even at 4-0 I can recall a couple of decent chances for Town, the one that hit the bar and their keeper having to make a couple of saves. Goals against cloud judgment on here most of the time. Cardiff took their chances, we didn't. At 3-0 it's easy for them to move the ball around such that we looked to be chasing shadows at times.

Yes I genuinely think we're in real danger. We've played some dross recently and got a few results which I think have papered over the cracks. There's quite a few people that still have their tinted spectacles on.
Best we can hope for is there's 3 sides poorer then us. Doubtful

I don’t think we’ll get relegated but I think there will be 4-8 points between us and 22nd.
Think QPR, Wednesday and Rotherham are far worse than us though.

I think we'll be ok. There's just about enough in the squad (with a bit of luck with injuries) to keep us up.
January could very well be key. If we can enter January still 6-8 points above relegation and add just a couple of players (Midfielder and striker). We've every chance or staying up
I don't think it'll need that many points to stay up this season. 44 may even be enough this year to be 4th bottom....So 30 points to go, 7 wins, 9 draws, allows for another 14 losses

Who on earth do you expect us to get points against? We’ve played qpr Rotherham and sheff wed. Well we're playing all three of them again for starters. Preston have fallen apart after that incredible start, and Norwich are on the kind of run that is going to see them continue to sink. Over the last six games under Moore, there are SIX teams that are on a poorer run than we are. If anything, we're likely to be a place or two higher by Christmas. In the 11 seasons since we came up into the Championship from League 1, we've finished above 16th TWICE. We're running pretty true to our established standing, which is largely down to the investment put into the playing squad over an extended period.

No idea where we are with turton and ruffles but we need them back asap. Although someone suggested Moore doesn’t favour a back 4.

I think we played worse on Sat, bar the first 15 mins. 4-0 down at home after 55mins, objectivity goes out of the window on the night, but if they show the extended highlights you might realise that the only difference between the 2 sides was goals. As I’ve said on the match thread, to be in that position with 35 mins to go gives your team a ton of options, the players are far more relaxed etc. I’m not glass half full, we’re in a bit of a predicament here, but the “worst performance in years” thing just isn’t true.

This is true. The caveat is that when you are 2 now down in 12 minutes and 3 nil down by half time, the game is bound to change as they can take their foot off the gas and you have to go for it. It was well after 30 mins before we created a chance and they were cruising.

Not at all - there's enough to scrape by providing the horrendous errors seen last night aren't repeated. The longer term issue remains however - are we happy just to remain where we are? A struggling championship team with the odd good season............or are we going to throw the shackles off and re-embrace a no limits philosophy? That doesnt mean throwing silly money around - but when you fail to invest back in your squad and facilities you get what we have right now sadly. After last night things can surely only get better.....................ooops it might be worse at 3pm sat!!!
