Noticed Sheffield Wednesday play away on the Sunday at Blackburn. If Town and Brum both win on Sat then realistically I would say Wednesday are gone. Disagree Wednesday play Sunderland on the final day of the season so they'll beat them. Had we got what we deserved yesterday would've been inclined to agree. Think Id rather have Wednesday's fixtures than our own. So you'd rather be away twice than home? I wouldn't. Win these two games and we are right back in it

The nightmare scenario could be if we go into the final day in a shootout between us and Brum. Town at Ipswich, Brum home to Norwich who are already safe in 6th. Wagner has got history for throwing a game or two when preparing for the play offs!

We could still maybe do it, somehow, but I can’t see it. That was one massive kick in the balls today. We played well and won that game and then it was taken away. Think that’s really hard to come back from at this stage. Yup. Yet.... If we'd been offered a draw before kick off, we'd all have taken it? I'd have taken us equalising in the last minute to get a draw. The feeling would be very different to the circumstances that actually played out.

If we go down, I hope it is by more than two points.
It is going to be sickening otherwise.
I will forever feel bitter, just like the Florist final.

Ffs it's over our time in the Championship is over and rightly so.We are a complete and utter shit show of a football club from top to bottom and inside out so best stop looking for other results to keep us up. Let the bastards that run the club and make the decisions take the flak when we get relegated next week and try fix it.Fans don't get a look in as we don't make these god awful decisions,we just turn up week in week out spending our hard earned cash hoping that things may change but, they never do. If this shower of shit want to continue sitting in there high chairs reaping the financial rewards from a complete and utter failing entity then crack on and Shame on the lot of you for your sheer lack of empathy for the supporters who have to sit week in week out watching the utter fucking shite you dish up.

Hard to be optimistic after this weekend....2nd. from bottom, and with a GD now nearly as bad as Owls', and far worse than Brum's.

I would much rather Wednesday came down with us. Brum have more spending power and with Wrexham already, we don't need that.

Massive are in such turmoil that they probably wouldn't. Roehl would leave and he's about the only thing they have going for them.

I know it’s 46 games, but when you look at the last 2 weeks, we were shat on at Bristol and didn’t have anything to crow at yesterday.
When you look at the 2 Wed goals today, you just have to realise where the luck is heading. Unless there’s a turnaround in the next 2 games relegation will be deserved.
It’s how the club react to this whichever way it lands.

Absolute FAILURE to beat teams higher up pretty much most Matchdays since January has been our ultimate undoing for sure..,
Stoke, QPR and Wendy’s have all done that this particular weekend while we yet again failed abjectly -
Eventually it catches up and finally will pretty soon in a fatal manner...
You can bet your bottom dollar that Wendy’s Birmingham, Plymouth, Blackburn, QPR, Stoke and Millwall would’ve got a point or full points v on the beech Swansea -
Our mentality weak and supine lot couldn’t and that’s been the tragic undoing of them and subsequently therefore grieving for us as supporters !

I am right in thinking we pretty much have to win both remaining games now.
Whilst not the case mathematically, Wednesday/brum will most likely pick up another point. Good chance plymouth will too but them and brum also have the advantage of a far better goal difference ?

Could see Blackburn going down as they have some tough games. Plymouth, Wednesday and Birmingham can overtake them.
Blackburn probably my preference as they will be the weakest in league 1 without szmodics

We're f*cked. I'd be surprised if we have more than 2 shots on target in the last 2 games.

We deserve to be relegated and with how we have been playing, especially how fragile we are when we concede, then I don’t see us getting enough points to stay up.
However, incredibly we have a tiny chance still. Beat Birmingham and we def take it to the last day. WBA need a win to secure playoffs so they will be on it to beat Wednesday on Saturday.
In isolation, us to beat Birmingham and WBA to beat Sheff Wed isn’t a stretch. Both outcomes are the favourite outcome with the bookies. If that happens, we go in to the Ipswich game with it in our own hands still.
We don’t deserve this lifeline but we must take it and the crowd have got to put everything else to one side and get behind the team v Birmingham.

Agreed, I don’t see us doing it, but madness we still have a chance to be in our own hands come the last game of the season if just two results go our way on Saturday.

I am also unable to attend on Saturday due to a family commitment organised months ago. I am relieved because I cannot stand to watch Town fail. Maybe they won’t and win handsomely against Brum. I hope so but it’s the hope that kills you. But after the heavy drubbing against Swansea it is unlikely. What is much worse is that Wendies winning means Brum will go for a win not a draw aka Millwall which means we are vulnerable to their Championship forwards who it is to ribbons at their place.
If the worse happens and we do go down I am very concerned about our ability to progress in League One. Look what happened the three previous times we were relegated to the third tier. It took years and monumental efforts to escape.
PS one other thought too: we need a 25 goal striker to get out of League One and I don’t think we have one.
