We also have the old Swansea head of recruitment now, who I assume signed him there. Good shout

Had a look and a quick google seems to suggest he’s been out all season with an undiagnosed illness although recently returned to training in the gym.sounds like would be a risk if that’s the case.

If true, our policy in signing young and promising, with a view to developing and selling-on, most likely hasn't changed then.

Rudoni ? and although Hogg doesn't tick all my boxes I'd keep him and play him in a limited role in front of back 4 unless we can bring in 2 midfielders who can actually influence games.. otherwise agree with rest ..time to cut our losses on players who are simply too inconsistent...naming here Koroma, Diarra, Thomas who can all show promise but not often enough for me...we simoly can't afford to keep players who only 'show' every now and then.. Thomas!? Wow!! Whilst some of his delivery/ general play has been a little inconsistent, it's still far better than a lot we have got - In fact, I think I saw something saying he has the most accurate crossing on the whole league! In terms of his effort which has been questioned before that has not been inconsistent! In fact been consistently excellent! I'm not disputing his moments of excellence, but like VLP you never know what you're going to get with Thomas. yes his effort has improved (it needed to), and hopefully his attitude as well (As NW said he could have an argument with himself).. But, if we're going to progress as a club..with KN's 3 year plan...we can't afford hit and miss players can we.

Valid point, and not one that I suspect many had thought of. As things stand: Nicholls Maxwell Chapman REG Ruffels Pearson Helik Headley EdwardsTurton Jackson Lees Yuta Hogg Rudoni Koroma Sorba Kasumu Wiles Austerfield Burgzorg Ward Hudlin That's 23 players (the others are U21 so don't count towards the total). Assuming that we send Edwards back to Stoke that still only leaves space for 3 coming in unless we get rid of someone on that list. Seems so odd to say that when our squad looks so thin I would keep the keepers, get shut of Edwards Turton and Yuta from the defence. I would get shut of Hogg, loan Wiles, Austerfield and Rudoni out to L1 teams. I never thought I would say this but Danny Ward is past his best and has to go along with Hudlin. That’s 9 gaps that need filling.

No, he's obviously vital Minutes wise it's more like 100 games which equates to an average goal contribution every 2.95 games. Name me another winger within our budget that would get even close to those numbers? If I take out his Blackburn stats his average goes down to a goal contribution every 2.83 games. Terrible, eh?

Sorba lost his way under Schofield, and to a far greater extent Fotheringham, who completely mismanaged him both on and off the field. Take that dire 6 month period out of the equation, and he's been an absolute star for us. I'd feel a lot less confident in our ability to score/win a game with him off the field, as the stats support. Inconsistent he isn't.

load of potential in this guy with a loan to buy option. Can't imagine he'd cost the earth either.

Nakayama is too slow. Results in some good chances for the opposition in every game he plays. Being able to pass doesn't really make up for that He's still quicker than our non ball playing CB's.

I would say so, just down the fact he might actually play a game of football. Ward is not and , will probs only play 3 to 5 games from now until end of the season. That is if we are very very lucky , to be graced with his prescence.

Mentioned him earlier in the season
Daniel Kemp. 24 year old midfielder.
At Swindon on loan from MK Dons. 13 goals on 24 games this season now.
Watched him on a couple of occasions and is a very intelligent player and could play Championship level.

Bit quiet on the rumours front, reminds me of the summer!
I think Jebison has run down his contract so will be looking for a decent pay day and maybe not a relegation battle.
