I'm not sure I agree with this awful football thing. We're away from home, a threadbare squad and we defended pretty well. My biggest problem is composure again, we broke pretty well at times, but lack that cutting edge when have those opportunities. Still, having what I assume is an average of less than 30% possession in the last 3 games, to come away with more than 50% of the points will do for me... You're right saying the squad was threadbare, but in reality which of the injured players would have got in the team today? Nicholls? Wouldn't have changed the game because Maxwell hasn't put a foot wrong. Kasumu has done well since he came back into the squad, Wiles has been poor all season. Ruffels has done OK this season but Yuta is the better of the two. That was pretty much a full strength team today including the subs that came on. It's the crap recruitment that's hamstrung us this season, the injuries have just exposed just how poor the squad is. None of the long term injured players are a vital cog in the team, just squad fillers and probably wouldn't get a look in at most championship squads. Nakayama is not better than Ruffels I was one of those going mad at the start of the season when Warnock wouldn't play him but it's now clear why. He's extremely slow, bottles tackles and makes some very strange decisions defensively. He's half decent on the ball but that doesn't make up for the other shortfalls. I've slagged Ruffels off in the past but right now I can't wait to have him back

Before the Southampton game, I thought 10 points before January - considering the threadbare squad - wouldn't be the worst return in the world. To have 5 points already isn't bad. Poor performance on the ball, but before that two more positive displays. Two points dropped when leading for so long, but 4 points from back-to-back away games is never a bad return in this division.

F off you weak shit

Thought the side looked tired today. 3 games in 7 days with a thin squad and big injury list. Players coming back from injury too.
Think it’s unfair to throw players under the bus from the mistakes today. Last 20 mins we were totally knackered.
5 points from 3 after international break is decent. Think Moore is slowly improving and the players are slogging themselves for him. Under all the criticism of Moore, I do rate the blokes ability to not throw players out to dry like previous managers.
The football is v dull but I do think with a decent squad Moore be alright at Town. Can understand the frustration but think the big over hang is Kev PR BS session this summer and fans getting hopes up and we haven’t improved since last season (which was dire).

Whilst I agree on the hectic schedule and the injuries but these are no different from any other clubs in the division who have the foresight to operate with a squad of 25 senior professionals to cover all eventualities. The situation we find ourselves is through rank amatuerism and our own making.

If their lad hadn't made a complete hash of the gift from Nakayama then we'd have spent the second half clinging on to 1-1 rather than 1-0

I'm not surprised Hogg lost out to that challenge just before their goal. The guy was knackered. Showed in his passing earlier. He's 34 and played 3 games in 8 days in perhaps one of the busiest positions on the pitch. I'd imagine Moore would have subbed him if we had adequate cover. Hail to The Hogg.

Not that he's been any good but atleast it is another body on the bench who could have come on

Just seen the goal...that's a foul on Hogg in the build up. Without a doubt. He'd been blowing up every time we breathed on them during the game. It's yet another decision we've ended up on the wrong side of this year.

No report after the game or marks for the players in the examiner. Can't remember the last time that happened. Couldn't they send Helen to the games? She could do a bit of shopping at the same time and write report on that as well. Two birds with one stone. I shall write to the aptly named Wayne Ankers and suggest it.

Grim performance, however we were robbed, deffo foul on Hoggy - onwards & upwards - UTT.

Chuffed with a point in the circumstances but that was a sort of game for me that should bring a reality call. Other than a solid defence we were rancid. Reminded me of the miracle games Warnock took points from (which bodes well). We have to buy more technical quality, we have to improve our possession.

It’s bollocks. We have to find a weak link. Were Town fans. Three weeks ago, DM had a better start to this season, in stats than Warnock. But we couldn’t handle that. 9 games for 9 games, DM had one more point and one more goal.

Grim performance, however we were robbed, deffo foul on Hoggy - onwards & upwards - UTT. We weren’t ’robbed’; the stats tell us that. And if you watched it, I’m sure you’d agree. From Maxwells save and Darlings miss in the last min. Hogg should know better, and in that part of the pitch. Hoggy makes that tackle for us, the ref blows, we’re incensed. He/we shouldn’t have invited it. We don’t give credit to the finish, which was superb.
