DM said his “natural position” is right wing back. Every time I see him I actually question if anywhere on a (championship) football pitch is his natural position. Sorry what?! REG a fking right wing back?! ROFL. He claimed that REG coming on for Ward was like-for-like because Koroma moved up front and REG adopted his 'natural' position in RWB, hence losing no attacking players.

Htafc have 19 goals this season, two of which were own goals. Rhodes has 13. Rhodes is playing in league one 👍 So what, the rest of our strikers are league 2 standard so that's a step up

I thought we looked ok first half despite getting caught out down our left numerous times. Just got worse as the game went on though and the second half was pathetic. The manager seems completely unable to change the tactics mid game or at any point actually. Can we stop bringing Diarra on to the pitch until he's learned how to play football. May as well have ten men, he's useless. Managed to pick up a tiny bit of RL on my way home for a few minutes. Your know it's bad when they start questioning the manager. Bristol city looked poor but still better than us. All in all another boring, tedious Saturday afternoon down at the mac. The second half was spoilt by the conditions. Those conditions never changed from the first half to the second. All I saw was a half arsed bunch of supposed footballers who looked like they couldn't wait to get off the football pitch against a side who every bit wanted to win that game. That was not good enough and blaming the conditions is a piss poor excuse.

When you consider that neither side contains any quality and add the blustery conditions, it was never going to be a good game. I’m his biggest fan, but Hogg was very poor in the 2nd half. Kasumu continues his rich vein of form .
My afternoon is always spoilt when I look at who we have on the bench - no one to bring on who is going to change the game. Strengthening in January is absolutely imperative.

Anyone else get pissed at the moaning when one of our CBs pass back to the keeper? People literally booing them for keeping the ball rather than booting it to them and watching them do it instead. Embarrassing attitude. I agree - such vocal frustration is counter productive but my god it does frustrate me too. You’re taught in football as a defender to drive positively into space, our first touch is nearly always back to goal. But agreed with the main point, the atmosphere is awful at the moment. I think that when we try to win games at home the atmosphere will improve.

It's no wonder we struggle to pass the ball when not one of our starting eleven could count passing as a strength.
Even our so-called 'creative' players don't pass all that well. Or are so greedy, they don't pass at all.

Amount of people calling for Rhodes is pathetic. He showed over the past 2 years that he isn't good enough for the championship anymore.
League 1 is his level now unfortunately.

It’s a sad state of affairs. But even if he is on the bench it’s got to make us stronger than we are at the moment. We must have the weakest forward options in the Championship.

He's better suited in a formation with two strikers and is way better than Hudlin and Harrat both of who will be very lucky to play at league one level let alone championship. Need him back ASAP IMO.

thought the first half was good once we got the first 5 mins out of the way.
Second half was really poor.
Defensively slow, we need a quick centre back next to Helic and a quality right back
Ben Wiles is a massive waste of £1.2m or whatever we’re supposed to have paid for him.
Diarra looks shot of confidence since NW left and Moore came in. Needs a loan to League 1.
Hogg is just that second toovslow in thought and action, and his passing is unbelievably bad for a professional footballer
Maxwell was excellent and Kasuma outstanding.
Burgzorg has a good game. Koroma did ok but needs to be playing in an advanced position, not right wing back. Ward was pretty useless
We desperately need a quality ball player in midfield alongside Kasumu and Rudoni and a goal scorer
Lots of work to do in January. If we can find the quality, we will stay up

As once he is named in a squad, he can't move again, unless it is to Blackpool.

If we bring in 2 or 3 creative players in January and suddenly start attacking teams then there’s an argument to bring him back, but if we carry on like we are doing then Rhodes would be completely wasted in this team.

He gave 100% all match, made the goal with a fantastic break from about halfway before unselfishly laying it off for Burgzorg to score. Went down with cramp a couple of times. Did very well, shame he had next to no support. I can recommend The Tennants Arms at Kilnsey. A cracking pint of Timothy Taylor last time I went.

In League One 🙄, in the Championship he has 14 goals in 4 seasons You come up with anti-Rhodes posts every time Porrohman and those stats don't paint the whole picture do they ? He is not the total answer on his own but he could be a million times better than any other suggestion I've seen if used correctly

If he could just become "good" at one of the things he is currently "ok" at he'd be fine. Unfortunately, whichever position you play him in he's got a major flaw for that position. He turns 25 next month. How much is he likely to improve?
