Not rocket science is it?
Moore was holding us back, as most on here said.
Johnny W no tactical masterbrain, he just does the pragmatic stuff that hasn't been done for months
We're great to watch right now

As many have said give it Worthington until the end of the season and go from there ( keep him on if he carries this on).
We need a passionate leader who gets the players fighting for them which is clearly happening. I also think he does have some tactical/game management nous which makes a pleasant change. He has obviously taken on board what Warnock did last season in getting the basics right and playing to the squads strength. With Worthing plus a near full strength squad I would be confident in saying it is very unlikely we go down.
They all seem happy under him in a very similar way to the change that happened with Warnock last season. It is also quite clear that our top choices haven’t happened for whatever reason. Let’s not settle for second best and disrupt the confidence that is building.
He also obviously has the respect of our seasoned pros which for someone who is pretty young for a manager, who also was a league 1 player and who is in their first managerial role is no small thing.

Cant understand why Sunderland are up there as thought they were crap tonight and when we beat them earlier in the season
This win sets the Hull game up as thing we can pull away from the relegation zone

Well I’m not sure I believed we had this level of play in our squad. And a strong bench. What a turnaround.
JW doing brilliant job. Keep it up lad.
Another big home game on Saturday. Can’t wait. And I’ve not said that for a while

Immense effort again. Should have won by three with chances created and pens not given. We made them look very ordinary. Rudoni did a great job on Clarke And Pearson, they both marked him out of the game.

Cracking result and sets us up nicely for next three games - all winnable but all tough too .
Great man for man and really looked a cut above with Balker at the back. Thought Pearson and Rudoni worked perfectly on Clarke.
Great to see some depth on the bench too .
Ref poor - let loads go first half then not even a red for awful challenge .
One honest question - were the players not playing for Moore or was he that incompetent ?!

Great result and deserved win.
I did feel like we should have shut the game down a bit instead of still attacking in numbers very late on (eg the Thomas free kick which they cleared and very very nearly scored from). Made it very nervy.
It's like a cloud has lifted and players look like they're enjoying themselves.
The game could/ should have been very different if the correct refereeing decisions would have been given for Bellingham handling on the line to stop a goal - a red card and penalty. The foul on Pearson - stonewall red card.
The players have got to be feeling confident now.
On a side note (not saying Lees is shite but) how good could a central defensive partnership of Balker and Helik be?

Simple answer, they could not handle our intent.

I think Worthy's tactics are simple. Pick one or two players from the opposition who are dangerous and mark and hustle them out of the game.

Special mention for Nichols, he's won us that as much as anyone else tonight. That 1v1 save and reaction v Lees was incredible

Helik and Balker could be the cornerstone for a very good season next season. No beers have been consumed this evening btw, just the natural happiness of my team winning seeping into my bones.

I watched his first interview as port Vale manager today and he said almost word for word what he said in his first interview as town boss. Absolutely horrific. Great football club, met the chairman same ideas, project, great football club, great fans, great football club...

What a win. Feeling much more positive after that. So many great performances and it really should have been 2 or 3 nil.
Looking forward to Saturday. The players just need to keep working that hard every game between now and the end of the season.
No rush to find a new manager. Let's get some more wins on the board first.

Everything is better including the atmosphere. 1-0 up and we still should have scored another 2 towards the end.
That handball btw.. looked a stone waller from where I was!
Reaaaaally hope Balker isn’t long term. Was it Cartwright who brought him and Matos in?

6 halves of football, 5 nils and a 45 mins where we concede 5.
At the other end we’ve scored 8 in 3.
Great stuff Town, bit of a way to go, but we’re on the right track…

Matos and Kasumu hassled the life out of everybody tonight. It was like having two younger, more mobile, Johnny Hoggs in there. Loved it. 👍

Worthy just said on his radio Leeds interview, its a squad game and we help each other, you can tell that with his 3 games in charge. And that squad must have been bloody frustrated having to play the way Moore told them to. They are now enjoying themselves..... Exactly, Worthy has taken the shackles off and the difference is there for all to see.

Who's that Ward on the bench? Is he a B team player? Having seen his anonymous performance tonight I think he'd be better off playing in the B team.

Get in there Town, 3 points, clean sheet, staying up up up. Sunderland could probably argue they deserved at least a point and that might have been a fair result but great attacking performance from Town from the get go, intent, pressing and some resolve probably too many hairy moments at the end for my liking but a great performance snd a great 3 points. Good to see Burgzorg back too.

Special mention for Nichols, he's won us that as much as anyone else tonight. That 1v1 save and reaction v Lees was incredible Pleased for him tonight, set the bar so high when he first joined and hasn’t quite been at that level this season and had a bit of stick for it. But good to see he’s still got them ridiculous reflexes. When he’s on it, there isn’t a better keeper in this division.
