Shout out for Wiles. Didn't play for long, but looked like he'd make a difference every time he got the ball. One swallow and all that, but well played. To be fair to him, he's looked promising in most games he's played since Moore left

After that incident in Waterloo back in 2010. My sister who lived in South East London used to regularly have her car window put through. She had a Town sticker in the window and after a while we worked out it was a Millwall hoodlum.
Luckily she doesn't live there now or she'd be having her car window smashed tonight.

To be fair I'd prefer to see Birmingham go as they have been hanging about the bottom, just as we have to be honest, like an unflushable turd for the last 10 years. There’s a supervisor at work who’s a blue nose. He’s been smug af all week and honestly it’s more than just Town staying up for me, if we sink Birmingham it’ll be the easiest wank I’ll ever have.

That ball he played out wide to Sorba Thomas who then whipped it onto Healey’s diving header was glorious. Made a difference today, for sure.

Great result today. As ever we made hard work of it. Passing wasn’t great but I genuinely think the wind played a major part in it. The amount of times they misjudged the flight of the ball because it seemed pretty gusty. Milwall just looked to lump it and it didn’t help any flow. Some guy on the radio said it wasn’t windy at pitch level but the ball could hardly be place for a corner at times. Nichols really needs to speed up the game. Please don’t indicate to slow it down when we do better with momentum. All in all important win and really pleased they kept going.

Massive win. What was going on in the upper tier? A old bloke collapsed. No stewards about to call for medical help. We were trying to get the attention of other stewards. Took quite a while for the medical people to arrive. Hed come round when they took him out. Absolutely terrible stewarding. The medical people arrived first and they'd come from downstairs. I often wonder what people do in an emergency in every day life. A steward isn't going to bring you back to life. St John Ambulance with a defib were there within the statistically life saving 3 mins. Thankfully it wasn't required and the gent looked like he was improving rather than getting worse. Having 1,000 people screaming and people booing the ref to stop the game certainly didnt help. Personally I thought the response was fine. It's a long way up to the upper tier with paramedics trained not to run so they're fit enough to do CPR when they arrive they're not going to be there instantly

Balls to the performance, today and the next 5 matches are all about the points.
It’s like selling some tat for a profit and moaning that the fivers you were paid with are creased. Once they’re in the bank, the figures are all that matter.
Hopefully they swanned off the pitch with balls like baked potatoes ready to come out swinging at Preston.

An ugly, ugly win. 3 massive points. - out of the bottom 3 so it’s back in our hands. - dragged Millwall and Plymouth right back into it. Was at a gig in Liverpool last night, when we woke this morning in the hotel and put the telly on Sean Dyche was on, saying he didn't care about pretty football and that he'd happily take 3 ugly wins in a row. I just thought "yeah, me too". And, lo, the first happened for both of us 😁

People just randomly shouting and swearing at the stewards in the bottom tier, half the people shouting didn't have a clue what was going on anyway.

Jolly gosh, what a smashing win and those Cockney chaps weren't happy in the car park. Its not about performances now, we have to dig in and sock it to em. Just after the goal, there was a fan in the away end deliberately stamping on a seat, quite obviously trying to break it. Morons

Would be great to get another win on Tuesday, or even a draw to carry some momentum.
But let's be honest we usually get nothing from Deepdale.
Let's hope last season's win there broke the curse for good.

I’m guessing you’ve not heard the clip that they were referring to? A RL commentary from a few yrs back. No it was from the darts World Championship 2023 final when Michael Van Gerwen threw 8 perfect darts and narrowly missed a 9 darter. Then Michael Smith threw 9 perfect darts in the very same leg. Wayne Mardle is a true legend But Mardle doesn't speak with a thick Cas accent. "I can't speyk" v "I carnt speak" 😁

Not read the thread. Just like to comment. All you lot that boo when Edwards comes on, you look and sound juvenile and pathetic. You are just sheep. I don’t even think you know why you are doing it. He’s been poor while he’s been here, but to boo him as he enters the pitch…grow up. He didn't look slow either, when he chased back to get to a long punt before the Millwall striker.

We must start the next game with more intensity, couldn’t believe what I was watching for the first 20 mins. A 50mph wind at our backs and Nicholls is ambling around with the ball telling players to calm down; no, we should have come out all guns blazing and pinned them in. Balls into the box, peppering them with shots but instead we passed between our back line and back to Nicholls. Bonkers.
That said, we deserved to win and must be thankful to the most tactically Inept performance I’ve ever seen from a millwall manager. We were there for the taking 2nd half, couldn’t string a pass together and kicking into a storm (literally) but thankfully they sat back and were more concerned about how to waste time or shithouse. Their shithousery was so bad that it even shot them in the foot, taking a player off before a corner and creating uncertainty in their defensive line. Thank you Mr Harris. Town step up next game, right from the off. No more ‘calm down antics’ for the first 45; play with intensity and wake the f up!!!

I think the feeling might be the meds wearing off. Sorba is one of the shining lights in this shower of a season. Only 4 players in the whole division have created more chances and all of them play in teams going for promotion, two for Leeds and two for Leicester! He was almost literally fighting for the shirt today. I still think he’s our best attacker but the bit where he started fighting over basically nothing was something unnecessary given the circumstances. He’s allowed a blip. The other three are not though. It wasn't nothing. The frigging ref could've blown much earlier and saved both from yellow cards but chose not too. Millwall then just tried to get him to react with snide kicks off the ball. AB went over and had a right hug and a word with him after the final whistle.

Got to say I don’t think I’ve ever seen a game of football in windier conditions..
It was ridiculous..
Not surprised there was such little quality in the game..
(Or is that just because we are shite😜😜)
Anyroad doesn’t matter now..

Plays Tuesday for me if Hogg and Rudoni missing. We were pretty dire in midfield, that’s why Helik and co had to lump it up front, which AB then ticked them off for. They had no bloody choice Mr B, this is the Championship not a highly skilful, technical game in Germany! Needs Wiles to start Tuesday.

It must have been pretty windy at ground level also. Ball boys at the panasonic end took the balls off the cones and put them next to the billboards. Several of Sorba's corners moved before he took them. Ironically one of them was the pee-roller that we almost scores from. Weirdly (I sit central in the Kilner) the wind was blowing onto the right side of my face. Must have been bouncing back from the North stand. Either that or you’d turned your back on the pitch?

If form over the last 5 games is repeated over the final 5 games (a huge if, which won't happen because football doesn't work like that), then the bottom of the table will look like this:
Plymouth - 48 Millwall - 48 Town - 48 ----------------------- Sheffield Wednesday - 46 Birmingham - 45 Rotherham - 27
Squeaky bum time indeed!

Thing is we're not very good at it. Exactly. It amazes me that professional footballers in the second tier struggle to do such a basic part of the game. I said to my in second half, I wish I got 5ka week to be as shit at my job as some of our lot are. You'd think passing the ball at the right pace to the place would be basics that even district league players have mastered.

Wasn't pretty but neither are our defeats, big shout out to our two centre half's who along with the keeper looked determined to keep a clean sheet. I would have brought Pat Jones on who I think would have danced pass the Lions defence in the conditions (IMO)......Small steps AB but its not over till its over & a win is a win in any language, MoM goes to the fans (& Possibly Matty), top marks those in attendance. Every player we have needs to show aggression and passion. Sorba has shown this all season and now we need this from all of his teammates.

Doesn’t matter who you support, a stoppage time losing goal is a real kick in the nads… My nine year old grandson walking away from the ground commented after hearing Brum losing to a late Leicester goal that Town will relegate them on the 27th April & on the same day Plymouth will do the same to Millwall at the Den......Hope he's correct, riot cops get ready.

He absolutely could have stepped in earlier. Given the foul against Sorba and avoided giving 2 yellow cards.
