Waking up Sunday morning after a win - finally. The Boos from our fans when Edward’s came on were out of order. Full backs are a problem though. Play Spencer at left back ? Turtle at right back ? Mmm I’m Not sure Ollie hasn’t played in months very tough to come into a relegation battle when you have barely played. Headley just needs to concentrate more and do it faster. Seems to slow down and not make a positive decision. Were the 'fans' actually booing Edwards, or the decision to take Spencer off and/or the fact that he was replaced 'like for like' with a full back? It was a strange reaction to what was a sensible substitution. Spencer, like quite a lot of the squad, isn't fit enough to play 90 minutes game after game and they need to make sure he lasts the season.

Re Headley: although he's had his criticisms, mostly fair recently, it was his run when no-one wanted the ball that won the corner which ultimately won the game.

Boos around me definitely for Edwards, interspersed with less than complimentary comments about him.

As soon as Edwards stood ready to come on lots of people in the Riverside booed him. Andre went absolutely ballistic and turned to the crowd making angry gestures. Rightly so imo.

He seems to procrastinate when he looks to pass, and can be really static off the ball. When he’s dribbling at players he can be very effective and open the game up. The experience he’s had will really benefit him, still really young. He’s really benefit from having a lot more passing and movement drills coached into the team - he’d have done well in the Corberan team as an example, although not as effective as Toffolo.

Got to remember being entertained is the main thing. That became a luxury many games ago.

I tend to agree. There’s a tremendous player in Headley. He’s already developed defensively this season, and when he learns the balance between attack and defence he’ll be formidable. Still more effective going forward, though. I love seeing him drive forwards, and he’s actually got a good range of passing for breaking the lines. He’s clearly more aware of the gaps he might leave, though, so he is more static at present.

I was having kittens, near the end, when he decided to let a long ball go through to Nicholls when it was never going to reach him and they just stood and looked at each other for a second.

It was ridiculous really. He’s been largely crap for us, but that assist v Watford could be priceless this season. Imagine the shit some of our past players would get if they were playing in this era? It’s just shite booing your own player when they enter the pitch. Not my style, but I suppose you could boo someone when they’re subbed after a stinker, but you should always reserve your booing energy for the opponents… I think Edwards has broad shoulders anyway, doubt it affected him.

No problem with booing players off if deserved, but it's ludicrous to boo a player on to the pitch.

I thought he should have started today and we left ourselves short in midfield. Plays Tuesday for me if Hogg and Rudoni missing. We were pretty dire in midfield, that’s why Helik and co had to lump it up front, which AB then ticked them off for. They had no bloody choice Mr B, this is the Championship not a highly skilful, technical game in Germany! Needs Wiles to start Tuesday. I am a fan of Pearson and more so helik but both a shite with the ball at feet can't pass!

Has Edwards actually done anything wrong - bar not being able to handle Summerville at Elland Road?

Gutless and shit supporters I've never booed a town player off or on the pitch but I will admit to constant chuntering for 93 mins. Brilliant much needed win. Game on !! Got to love a last gasp winner against the bushwankers. UTT

Watching the 'highlights' I was amazed to see Millwall had far more chances than us and should have won by at least 2 or 3 goals🤔 The melees around the Millwall goal never happened and the shots/shots on target difference were in my own mind and misinformation from the BBC and other sports sites😔 Its a warning, if anyone needs it, if its not live on tv or you dont go to the game, you are likely to have little idea what happened from the 'selected highlights'...🤨

Agreed. I had to look at the teamsheet to identify the twat. Have a look at what Chicken calls him in his “ five conclusions “ www.weareterriers.com/p/five-conclusions-huddersfield-town-787He's referring to Billy Mitchell (No.8) who was the one trying to rip Sorba's shirt off. He looked a right weapon as well and got subbed in the 69th min after running the ball back to his own goal for 20 yds and out of play. Loved that bit !

Looks a liability at the moment and not in the correct form to be part of a relegation battle, Id rather not see him at LB during the run in.

I really rate him as a lad with loads of potential, but these last 3 games hes been really off the pace of the game and making all kinds or errors which he doesnt usually do. Mind you, Jackson, who I also rate in a similar way, wasnt any better. And the booing of Edwards is truly pathetic. Wed be better off without 'supporters' like that. As for the game..never going to be a good game in those conditions..but I thought if either side deserved to win it, it was us. Bar Sorba didn't think anyone had what could be described as a decent game on either side, but credit our lads for keeping going at them and getting their reward.

It was far from a good game yesterday, I don't think the conditions helped at all. We were fully deserved winners in the end though and at this stage it's all about the points.
Not a fan of Edwards but the booing when he came on was disgraceful. Hang your heads if you were part of that shit.
