Hogg out for the season, by the sounds of it. A huge, huge blow. That's a massive kick in the nuts !

We also lost 1-0 there in the cup in 2019. Looking back this season generally when we have taken a 4+ goal tonking we have tightened up defensively and got an okay result the next match. So am going for a 0-0 draw. I reckon a 0-0 would be great. If we steal a goal and somehow shithouse it 0-1 great, but don't lose. Get a point and it's a must win 2 games on the bounce. I think the time for taking a draw has passed. With our GD it’s highly likely we’ll need a minimum of 49. We need 2 wins from 4, but if we don’t win tomorrow that becomes 2 from 3 and the pressure just increases.

Cant check but it might be interesting to see how many 'good hidings' Hogg has played in?? A trench is great till it gets over run and its a bastard to get out of. Id like Hogg available to 'use' in games, dont get me wrong..

A positive result of any denomination tomorrow will certainly help to relax my twitching arse.

Nothing to stop Hogg being in the dugout. I feel a lot better about having Lees back to be honest.

Its been obvious for some time, we cant play deep, we cant go gung ho forward but we are pretty decent at flooding from halfway to our 18 yard line and competing there, to break when we can.

Andre talks about the exerpeinced players, would have stopped the collapse on Tuesday night, really ? Think about it, we have collasped many times this season with these "expeirneced" players , why did they not stop it this time ? The mentaility of the whole squad is not correct and has not being right all season.

I know what you mean and agree in general, I just don't believe this team can go down there and get 3 points in a normal fashion. I don't like playing for draws I just havs such little faith in this group.

This game requires the old David Wagner tactics during the second season in the Prem.
6 defenders, everyone behind the ball, sit deep, keep it tight and hope to nick a goal like we did at Chelsea.
After their showing on Wednesday we can't afford to go all guns blazing and concede 3 before half time.

Time for the team to stop being pussies, stop whining about fans, work their bollocks off and win their fifty fifties. Then we can talk about the twelfth man. A bit more guile from the management team wouldn't go amiss either. Time for talk is over.

We barely left our penalty area for 45 minutes. Sit between the 18 yard line and the halfway line. Dont go deep early, dont stay there too long. Dont get drawn out, break when you can. Big pitch made small, easier and less running to close down and engage, not too deep to be able to break from. Hard to get in behind. City might just get bored or annoyed, both would be in our favour.

He replied post match that the 12th man had turned up, unfortunately numbers 1 - 11 hadn’t

All it takes is someone to win a 50-50 challenge with a hefty Hoggy style tackle and the “12th man” will be activated. We have seen very little on the field of play to inspire us and to get our adrenaline pumping this season.

The team falling apart AGAIN? forh im just turning up ? for him gracing us with his prescence ? People have paid their hard earned cash to go and watch their team fall apart yet again, what is there to respect ? If i saw a group working themselves into the ground and giving it everything they have got , then fair enough. I have not seen this all season, that the players are giving their all , all us as fans ask for is 100% effort. Respect is a two way street , remember Delano , this season we have seen players not able to pass a ball , how can you "respect" that ? The amount of absoulte collapses says to me a lack of commitment and willings to work hard , as if you did you wouldn't let as many goals in as we have . I will RESPECT you Deleano when you respect my football club our football club.

Me neither, lots of dickheads follow town and lots go to away games, same with any club. Players are highly paid professionals and shouldn't expect a warm reception from 100 percent of the fan base after a capitulation like that. He needs to grow up and do his talking on the pitch.

Some behaviour at the end of the game on Tuesday was beyond belief, perhaps some of our “ supporters “ would benefit themselves by not attending, it’s becoming embarrassing , shouting f**k off at players !! Its a culmination of frustration and disappointment. The odd goal defeats are one thing.....8 4 goal concessions is pathetic and ive no sympathy for the players. They ask for fans to be the 12th man, get behind us etc......but its time for them to give something to get behind first!

The fans need to team preform to get behind them and normally i would be happy with a point at Bristol but not tomorrow.

Went to Preston but didn’t see the DB incident as I’d had enough and disappeared home, but I did see him do something very similar at Norwich away. The lad needs to put more effort in on the pitch , he thinks he’s something special yet time after time doesn’t do enough on the pitch, he’s a centre of attention type of guy who’s not getting it for his football contribution so seeks it elsewhere. Get your head down and earn your respect from the fans on the pitch.

I'd read he'd gone across to give his shirt to the fans. If that was what happened, it was an ill thought gesture given the team's 3rd qtr capitulation.
Hopefully it fires him up to produce a spirited performance to earn us a positive result. Equally he may just mope about given it the 'diva'. Lets all hope for the former. I wouldn't be that surprised to see him start on the bench to be honest.
