I unfortunately think we need to beat Swansea and yourself to even have a chance on last day of season , I haven’t given up but very much doubt we have it in us to do that. No issues from me re you coming on here and it really doesn’t matter to me if your sincere or not , and as for who goes down bar town, couldn’t care less. If we do go down probably you are a team I would prefer not to follow us but only because your club will complete to win league one with your wealthy owners. As we have seen the last few days who would have thought Plymouth could beat Leicester or Blackburn go and beat Leeds . Our performance against Cardiff was a disgrace totally gutless then we make 3 changes and beat Coventry. I think the pressure is what gives us the strange results. No game is easy I definitely won't bet on us beating Rotherham.i think because 8 teams are still involved it will go down to the last game. Like you say it's 8 teams, teams that looked ok such as QPR are right back in it with results over the week end, Millwall look ok now but results go against them this weekend they are right back in it, must be great for the neutral supporters following this week in week out!!

Come on Rotherham!!! Sorry, but I'm just being honest.... Can't blame you it's another very tough game I'm certain not banking on a win. If we play like we did against Cardiff we will be crushed.if we play like against Coventry we have a chance Some are saying you battered Cov cos they had the semi-final on their minds, what's a blues fan thoughts on that?

A few twists yet I think Maybe the footballing gods will decide Huddersfield Town deserve a slice of luck for once?? Robbed of possible promotion 2 years ago by poor refereeing Robbed at Bristol by yet again poor refereeing We deserve a bit of luck for once Definitely a few twists to come which is why I'm not convinced we will even beat Rotherham. They say luck evens itself out over a season but I find that is not true, 100% you deserve some luck after that joke of a penalty in Bristol

As you say it must be fun for the neutral fans.i have seen us go up and down plenty of times so im use to it.with each set of results teams get further away but some get dragged in.i notice as a club we always hand out gifts to teams around us.when we went to Sheffield they were on a shocking run and they had big plans to protest.we play crapp and lose they then go on to win the next 3/4 ..Then we went to QPR went one up but lost in the last minute, then at Millwall lost again in the last minute.not confident but hopeful on Saturday

As far as I'm aware they played their strongest team because they were still in with a chance of the play offs. Maybe a bit strange with the cup semi final a week away but I'm sure they would swap a cup run for promotion. That said it's normal players will know a injury or red card could effect a trip to wembley. We brought in 3 good players who all improved the crap we performance against cardiff.if we lost to Coventry I doubt we would have got another point this season.i don't get carried away and if we lose on Saturday I won't be surprised

It took us 11 years to get back to the Championship the last time blues relegated us in 2001...that's the hardest thing..the thought of more years stuck in league one
It's the worst feeling I have ever had watching Town..above all the other relegation and playoff final defeats...although the 92 I think? playoff defeat to Peterborough runs it close
I can take relegation if we are promoted back next season....its the fear of the unknown which is the killer

And it's good to prove the people wrong who say we are going down.if we do I would hope we would be one of the bigger teams and good enough to come back up.as you say it's the fear of not knowing..The picture will become clearer on Saturday but I still think it won't be sorted until the final day.

I respect the poster if it's genuine. Takes alot to go to a relegation rival and wish that they don't go down while being in danger themselves.. However, if I were a betting man, I'd be putting money on one, if not both of our teams going down. In fairness, there's a lot of Town fans (myself included) who have a genuine soft spot for one of our relegation rivals last season (Reading). Plus there were a few of us quite pleased that Barnsley stayed up at the expense of Peterborough in 2013. As I said earlier I couldn't give a monkeys who we stay up with, as long as we stay up.

Some are saying they battered us because we had Darren Moore as manager at the time and he was shit. If only we could have waited until they appointed Rooney. We could have got a draw.

The following season was great (4-0 hammering by Macclesfield aside) though.

Surprised its not sold out yet for Rotherham away this Saturday (2120), I see also Town tickets (2336) went on sale at 5pm last night do you expect they will go quickly?.......No season ticket prices announced yet, are you preparing for a big increase? The Rotherham game sold out in minutes.i see their fans want to boycott the game in protest at the owners so I thought we could ask for more but doubt we will. The Huddersfield tickets will also sell out in mins and won't reach general realise .No I don't expect any price increase in our season tickets.First we have to see what league we are in next season.i would like to see cheeper tickets for kids, unemployed and pensioners but they don't seem to listen. Just seen a tweet saying tickets sold out v Town......Some serious money on offer from those missing out to get the lucky ones to part with their tickets.

Leam Richardson has just been sacked.
I had thought when he was appointed that he was the guy to get them back up after his exploits at Wigan, but they really have been dire. Probably the right call by them.

We were in all sorts of financial difficulties with Rubbery exiting stage left and from memory wasnt David Taylor the chairman by then? A legend of a town fan but without anywhere near the resources to fund a successful football club. Was training around the portacabins up at Storthes hall? Even then we got in the play offs before it all got really bad the following season. Think this time, all things considered, I think we'd be primed to bounce back quickly this time, and then with a bit of momentum behind you all sorts of things can happen, as Ipswich are finding out and Luton did before them.

Aye we nearly did get straight back didn't we..but Brentford got their revenge on us that evening...we had the opposite end that night(the open terrace) and I think Ben burgess scored the winner I remember it well..I drove down with my nethew to the game, and was sat having a pint in the sunshine while Concorde flew past on its teatime flight to New York I was at Vale Park too for the result that confirmed our relegation to division 4...somehow it just didn't feel as bad as the defeat to Birmingham

Yep. We can point to 11 seasons outside the top 2 divisions (including a season in the 4th tier) and think it might take that long to get back, but it's easy to forget now how much of a cluster fuck our club was at the time. I genuinely think whoever goes down with Rotherham will fancy themselves for a promotion tilt next season (caveat - if it's Massive Wednesday, only if they can keep hold of Danny Rohl).

Agree pardon the pun but it stinks of him getting the job while Richardson was still in charge. I must admit I thought Evans had a job.Time will tell if it's the right appointment

We've been relegated to the third tier on three occasions. 1st time = 1973 and we didn't return until 1983. 2nd time = 1988 and we didn't return until 1995. 3rd time = 2001 and we didn't return until 2012. So it tends to take us quite a while to get out of there. The first and third occasions saw us drop to the fourth tier before we returned to the second tier.

Well hopefully the rotherham players will see next season manager sat there against Birmingham and put in that extra bit of effort to impress him or to get a new contract.

If Richardsons fart is still there and of Evans drops one on entering the office,it will be out of bounds for weeks... By the way, I have a soft spot for Birmingham City,it is called The Okifinokee Swamp in Florida.
