My son said there was a release clause in his contract. Presume Rotherham met the conditions? Seems a bit odd with Rotherham already being relegated..what do they expect Evans to do ? Mind you if he inspires a win against Brum I'll take it as a genius appointment... Come on Stevie !! Get's him a good look at his squad before the end of the season so he can make a judgement on who to keep and who to let go. Got to be better than what Town would do ie wait until 6 games into the new season before sacking the manager and then that's another season written off. |

Not going to look that far ahead yet a million things could happen before then, main one being we could still stay up. In that situation this is only a good thing. I've no real knowledge of Rotherham's squad but I've no doubt there's players that are going to be wanting to impress for a new contract and this can only give them an extra incentive. |

My thought process is we finish 20th this season and then we finish 3rd next season as so far since we've come back down we've went 18th, 20th, 3rd, 18th and maybe this time we won't have a fat fuck reffing the play off final. |
