I'm not going to Austria or Sweden or wherever it is, but it is ever so slightly annoying that the Whatsapp channel that... "...will give those that opt in the ability to keep up-to-date with our most important updates. With information to be shared around our match days – both home and away – plus First Team updates, signings, kit launches and more, the new service should be a really helpful addition for all supporters looking to stay in the loop with Club activity." ...that since the three players signed, has only announced the Limassol friendly, and hasn't carried any team news, score updates or reports of the two friendlies so far. Its like they launched a kit and then forgot it exists. PLEASE JUST DO THE SIMPLE THINGS PROPERLY TOWN - we seem to have lots of bright ideas with half-assed execution 🤷♂️

Apologies Ringdisco, I got completely fuddled, I was not thinking of Babb but Cec Podd! It’s my age! Bloody hell, Cec Podd, there’s a name I haven’t heard for more than twenty years. Nice one. Now my memory seems to have recovered Haskins , after a slight blip , I can remember Cec Podd quite well , really decent guy, loved football, and would join in a kickabout in Mirfield park now and again , his feet were so quick , if anybody tells you 4th division players are shit , they are so mistaken !

It wasn't a dig at your post, sorry if you took as one. It was to do with those further up the thread who seemed determined to have a go at the club for taking time to announce the opponents and claiming they'd be pub teams. Ah thanks for that, I took it the wrong way.

Yeah all Austria games are available for fans to watch in the stadiums, it says on the Town webpage where they are being played but essentially in the Western Tyrol region of Austria

According to Hertha Berlin website they will play Town at 2pm on Thursday 25th July at Kaiserwinkl Arena, Kossen. They also play Cardiff City @6pm the same day at Koasastadion in St Johann in Tirol.....It will be the German clubs 132nd anniversary on the same day.

High, Austerfield and Simpson in team for B team at Ossett tonight. Interestingly Michael Stone not in squad. May have impressed Duff?
