1-1 think it was Healey, deflected a low Miller cross. Could have possibly been an OG.

So 1st half set up:
Nicholls
Thomas Turton Pearson Ayina Miller
Iorpenda Hogg Kane
Ward Healey
Too casual at start & an Ayina slip didn't have me in fits of laughter as Harrogate score in 1st 90 seconds.
That may have woken us up & we looked quite good. Miller looks exciting & his run & shots leads us to us equalising from it half-hitting Ward & going in.
Most interesting bits for me so far are we've had a corner & attacking free kick & Miller took them both, not Sorba. Also, I'm a bit anxious that Helik is missing with a slight "dead leg".

Terrific 40 yard cross field ball from Kane.
I'm happy with the style of play we are playing here, some good pressing & we've passed it around nicely. Hoggy given it away a few times but is still demanding the ball, as they all are to be fair.
As someone says, if Healey stays fit I imagine he will comfortably bag 20.
Everyone putting the effort in & showing for the ball, the opposite of last season to be fair.

Hit the post! Miller. Iopenda looks slick on the ball, great vision, holds the ball comfortably under pressure. Really looking forward to seeing how he develops this season.

We must have had 75% possession here, the Harrogate players will be hating this, their manager will be loving it for the fitness it will be giving them & to be fair to Harrogate, they look quite decent when they can get the ball.

Loving the width we are keeping which is allowing us to switch the ball. Some lovely switches today 30-40 yards.

Half time, really enjoyable game, much faster pace than many of our actual games last year.
2nd goal, against probably most of our 2nd choice back 5 needs work on, Harrogate got to the byeline too easily
