Really great to watch that, very encouraging, we have a style & we have a lot of players who can play it. Hoggy comes off the bench for me, to shore things up. It's going to be hard to pick a first team here. Let's hope Balker is ok. Haven't seen owt from Radulovic. As it stands, Healey and probably Ward start. We need to sign another striker then because there's no way Ward is the answer.

Thought that Eccleston looked class. Where on earth did he just pop up from? Think the result masks what was an impressive and dominant performance.
Wiles starting to look like the player we thought we had signed.

Sørensen impressed me, nice to see a full back attacking as well. Miller looked alright but thought Headley was better in the second half.

A proper striker would have bagged a hat-trick with the chances Koroma had in the second half. We played some good stuff going forward but looked a bit wide open at the back. Hopefully that will tighten up when he finds his best back three. Eccleston was impressive, as was Iorpenda in the first half.

Ward had probably his best game for 2 years - and still didn't look the answer to anything.
Koroma had a shocker, Bojan and Harratt did next to nothing.
I know it's only a friendly and Duff won't need telling but, goodness me - we need at least 2 strikers.
Other than that - a very impressive, strong, and powerful performance - particularly in the first half.
Lots of passing, most of it forward.
Unrecognisable from last season.
Hope Balker is ok,but I don't think we can rely on him unfortunately.

Why didn’t Spencer play? Injury?

Why didn’t Spencer play? Injury? They didn't say. If we were about to sell him then time to think again after Balker getting injured

Ward and Koroma remind me of when we came down from the premier league and we thought that the speed twins would help fire us back up. We need much better than those two. We can’t go into the season with only Healey looking like a striker.

Koroma is not a striker. He is an inconsistent wide player who has one trick.. cut inside and shoot.
We need better, get rid.

I thought miller looked terrific. Quick passing, great touch. Better than Sorensen for me.
Balker is class but that injury came as soon as he had a real sprint.
Have these injuries blighted his career in the past ?

He came on with about 15 minutes to go today, and Balker was down for half of that. Hardly enough time for him to do much.

Didn't go today though nevertheless it is obvious Town need two new strikers with proven records before the season starts. What we have is not good enough over the season to compete at the top end of the league. This is a problem the club have faced for the ladt three seasons at least, please get it sorted .

Completely and utterly disagree. Healey should bag an absolute hatfull this season and Bojan is easily good enough. We need another striker but what we have should easily be good enough for this league.

Good workout against a better standard of opposition. Harrogate clearly miles ahead of what we have played to now, but still not the sternest of opposition. 3-2 doesn’t reflect the chances at all. Had we rattled in half a dozen it would have been a better reflection, especially in the second half.
The big negative is the injury to Balker, who had looked assured and was a platform to build from at the back. He had set quite a few attacks going, including one drawing a double save from the keeper. He’ll be a big miss.
Plenty of tentative positives. Evans very assured, including one glorious pass in behind the full-back for Sorensen to run on to. Sorensen also very positive. I like the look of Miller, too, he was positive in the first half.
Young Ecclestone was great. Lots of promise there. Ayina did OK, recovering from his early error, but the left side isn’t where he is most comfortable. Iorpenda looks a player.
Take our chances, and cut out the silly errors, and that’s a very handsome win and good performance. An unusually enjoyable pre-season game played at a decent pace with both sides playing some good football.

Apart from the goal at Stoke, I've not seen anything to suggest he'll be good enough. I hope he comes good but for me he has a lot of work to do to reach the required level.

I bet you'd get some entertainment at Harrogate games too, they aren't bad going forwards. Seen Harrogate several times in L2 over the last 3 seasons and I’ve always thought they’ve looked decent going forward; games involving them are usually a good watch. They usually stuff Bradford City. Which amuses me.

Concerning that Spencer didn't play and was not listed as injured. He will have attracted attention from teams higher up the pyramid. He is such a good player for his age. I can see him eventually in the Premiership. If we are offered good money, with sell ons, I would think he'll go. Shame but if we have money coming in we can get better players for other positions. Eccleston is the same age as Spencer and if he is looking as good as posters have said in the Harrogate game then it could be a chance for him.

He will need more time under Duff to get there but he is a good ball player and he scores goals. I don't think Rhodes was a physical striker when he was with us but his positioning was second to none. Lets hope Bojan can be the same.

Quality day out today. Enjoyed it.
The football under Duff looks decent and there is a pattern of play. With the 3-5-2 system and the wingbacks going forward, we do look very slow at the back interms of the senior players. On the counter we do look vulnerable. Would like us to offload Baulker, Helik (kitty ££) and get a pacy centre back with some experience Spencer if we can keep him be great in a back 3. Thought Eccelston was very good for a youngster. With lacking abit of height and such pace and qualities on the ball, wonder if he could be a No 6 future replacement for Hoggy.
Healey looks good and sharp. Best striker at club. The other striking options feels poor. We could do with a quality striker with Healey signing (Alfie May esk)
Couldnt see much value in Ward, Harratt and Radulavic. All three loaned out if we can get some wage coverage from another club.
The wingbacks we’ve signed + Headley + Turton think we’ve got quality
Sorba not sure he fits in this formation
Really like Evans. Looks class in the middle. For me Wiles with his ability should run games but he’s not. Even a fuller figured Herbie Kane looks sharper and better than Wiles.
Iopenda really like however raw af
Just feels we are 2-3 signings off having a top 5 side which suits Duffs formation/ style
