I think others will say the same (including insurers), lets see if he gets to deadline day without an offer if so maybe something short term.......Would be last resort for both & highly unlikely. If we do then we'll have learned absolutely nothing. Player spends two years at the club and misses a good chunk of both seasons with various injuries, what are we seriously expecting from a possible third season? Said this in the Yuta thread but it deserves repeating here: The last injury Yuta got says nothing about his "injury proneness"- a team mate fouled an opponent who landed on Nakayama's leg, it was a freak occurrence. He has been injured for long periods of his time here, but I think it's more down to bad luck than anything else. In his last two seasons in the Netherlands he played 32 & 29 games respectively, which is close to being a regular starter in that league (18 teams, 34 regular league games). There was a post on his own thread that claimed he wanted to stay and was prepared to take a pay cut with relegation. If that's the case then giving him a new contract is a no-brainer for me.

Just been down to the FB fields and spotted Stevenage going though some preseason training (they were there yesterday as well). They have a friendly match against the Jersey Bulls on Saturday.

Had missed that. Bcfc are absolutely terrible, no improvement for years and years. They just remain permanently shit. Very funny though. 😂😂😂 I agree that BCFC are absolutely Cow Dung but somehow they have sold more season tickets than us. Is it buy one get one free at Bradford They haven’t sold more than us.

Sheff Utd at home Friday 2nd August 7:45 ko Two teams hoping to show fans they have put a dreadful relegation season well & truly behind them, around the same price to be promoted out of each other's league having both been shorter odds in May........Possibly our toughest pre season test giving Town a good indicator before Peterborough a week later.

Huddersfield Town v Aris Limassol FC Huddersfield Town face Aris Limassol in Austria (KO 5pm BST). Available in UK and USA only.
VIDEO RESTRICTED: NOT AVAILABLE IN YOUR REGION
I'm starting to wonder whether those of us overseas (outside of the USA) will get much, if any, coverage of Town this coming season?

Get VPN service which allows you to select your viewing from the UK and allow you to watch the game
Nord VPN is good but expensive

Look how to install on you tube You can't just tell him to get a firestick and follow YouTube. He needs an IPTV service which will have it's own app which you will likely install using the Downloader app.

Seems that Town, so far, aren't interested in overseas supporters unless you're in the USA. Meanwhile Barnsley are giving their overseas fans full access to all games (that aren't shown on SKY) for 140 quid. As are Wednesday and Sunderland for the same price. Leeds offers some video but I'm not sure about price of a season pass. Birmingham charge 170 a season pass. Can't be bothered checking any others.

That’s taking the piss out of overseas supporters. That’s about double the price of what I pay for Bein sport (local provider of EFL). Admittedly I don’t get every game and I’m not sure how many games I’ll get to see after we’ve dropped, but they need to be realistic about price.

The Sheff Utd game will be a good test. Gives us a good run out and see how we are looking going into the league.
Two relegated sides looking forward to a better future season

Bein sport cover two games in the EFL most Saturdays. All those other teams have full coverage, we have none, no options. Seems the new American market is where the monies at. Good luck with that.

Yes I do think that’s taking the piss. For about the same price as you quote (£140), I get Kayo sport here in Australia. Kayo sport covers every NRL and AFL games, the cricket (IPL, test, ODI) , F1, USPGA, WSL and a host of other sports that covers a few games of a competition a week. Essentially the equivalent of Sky Sports. So for 46 games, I would expect it to cost half of that, or to provide further entertainment (sports). Yes it’s taking the piss IMO. PS. My thoughts on price, the max that I’d pay per month is about the equivalent of £7.50 (AUD$15). Even that price makes me baulk. There is so much choice on where I spend my money pay tv wise that they have to be competitive. For another comparison, Optus Sport which has every Premier League, La Liga, J League game is AUD$200 (£100) for the year. If they try charging AUD$280 (£140), they’ll get no take ups down here.

You're comparing apples with oranges though.
The other things you mention have mass audience potential, whereas this doesn't.
All depends what fixed costs they face, including no doubt regulatory bollocks in every jurisdiction, etc. they face.
Maybe just ask the club what they're doing and why.

Yes, I've emailed the club on their 'Contact us' link but as yet have only got an auto reply. Even clubs at the bottom of div two (harrogate etc) are offering video access for overseas fans for 140.00, but so far nothing from Town and the fact that they are only allowing American fans to see the Austria games is concerning,

I wonder if Justasmithers can shed some light on whether international fans outside of the US will be given options to watch Town online.

The HTTV page is showing "Video purchased - available soon" for the Limassol game; but I haven't purchased a pass for either that or the bundle, and both are showing as available to me. Anyone else seeing that? Guessing it should just say it's available soon.

Yeah looks like these next three games are pay per view, £5 a game or £12.50 for all 3 although mine like yours is saying already purchased and I’ve not 😂

I think that SC holders who have set up their accounts are able to watch for free. Non SC holders have to pay.
Again... I could be wrong.
