Admins: come on! As tiresome as petty arguments are (I know, I’ve had a few), Lee adds so much to this forum. The stuff he does with our history and how he touches base with us when he is going to interview former players is invaluable. Clearly, you are banning the wrong poster imo. We are losing too many characters on DATM. Please reinstate him. Cheers. Especially as the other side has just posted ANOTHER bit which implies he knows what's going on in the dressing room. Edit: I don't feel cht should be banned either, but to ban the one who was baited seems churlish to me. mosher sorry but I didnt think I implied anything with that post, just saying what i think from everything that has been said by the managers, players, chariman, other staff in the media / social media, I don't think in that post I said anyhting that impies I know did I ? |

Some people need to realise that Hoggs off the field stature at the club is huge.
Every young player coming in on loan has named Hogg as the person they looked up to. Matos has been the latest.He offers so much off the field that will help the club. Is the bit in bold true? Middle bit makes him sound like Beckenbauer! He's been a legend for Town and the broad sentiment behind your post, yeah, but he's hardly an icon in the world of football. The Matos article on Chelsea's site says "Players like Jonathan Hogg were great and they were very good guys" - no mention of looking up to him, which has quite significant connotations for loans players from the biggest clubs in the country. Also, the dressing room was widely acknowledged to be toxic only weeks ago - yes Hogg was injured at the end of the season, but does that mean his huge stature at the club was unable to sort the dressing room out? I get your point. Wrong wording from me, but he is players always named by other players. Regarding the dressing room, that's ultimately down to the management and his team. The captain is more a middle man between players and manager. Just because the players weren't respectful of the manager, doesn't mean they didn't respect Hogg. |

So CHT is allowed to bait posters but when those posters respond they are banned and CHT continues to post their rubbish with no sanctions whatsoever. That's exactly what I thought when I saw the DATM Action Log  Who’s deleted their account? Garbage decision yellowing Morris. CHT has been winding folk up with his faux ITK shite for months. |

Admins are shocking and htfcokay has reacted to it and he gets banned. I’m especially surprised at wingman who has spoken to htfcokay on the mental health section of the board. I’ll end up with a yellow for this but happy to say it. |

I have advised (not warned I might add) to not retaliate and to use the block function. As I would anyone as I think it’s better to try avoid being wound up rather than react and get yellow’ed/banned. Just the other day I had to publicly warn him and another poster off from a public spat on another part of the forum. However, he has reacted, been reported (not by CHT) and as such we have to be consistent with the rules. It’s not ideal as I have time for him. It is good to see that the public tide has turned to appreciate his posts in the main; I will say that we’ve done a fair job with him to get that turned around from two years ago. Re CHT, I have made my thoughts clear to my fellow Admins. |

Porroh is not banned. He had an accumulation of cards but is free to post. His wit is missed imo, it would be good to see him on here.
I’m sure Lee will come back, but it’s not for me to just overturn a decision.
We do our best. Sometimes it’s acceptable and sometimes it not good enough.

Fair do’s but if Lee is banned for reacting to a poster who is now known to be a WUM, and subsequently banned, doesn’t that negate his reaction? It’s a bit like an unsafe conviction to me. I’ll level here and say that I still don’t fully understand Teds departure. I was in a sabbatical at the time but the thread in the admin section leaves more questions than answers. I do appreciate that it might be confidential and please accept that my thoughts are observations rather than criticism. Tbh, it’s hard to criticise when you don’t know what has happened. Agreed about Porroh, he was a funny poster. |
