Just something to point out Neil Moxley, who is reporting that Huddersfield are in the driving seat for May. Was also the only source claiming peacock farrell was off to blues. and did he get that right ? |

Didn’t they just pay close to 1m for Ryan Allsop too When they also have John Ruddy, who might be knocking on a bit but to have 3 goalkeepers of that calibre seems like spending a lot of money on a position they don’t need to. |

Key thing for me is if we don’t get him, we’ve a suitable list of players instead .

The longer it goes on, the more likely I say he joins us.
The reason I think they are dragging it out is Charlton are selling but want to get the highest fee possible. Trying to drum up interest and potentially Birmingham joining the race (if they are) is to inflate the fee, also helps Birmingham even if he ends up coming to us if we end up paying more as we then have less funds for other players.
Also why Nagle said we are hanging in there. If Birmingham really want him I'm sure they could just offer more and they would get him.
If we hold our nerve, we get him at a lower price.

Shame if we loose out by a small amount but so be it. I also suspect they will be in a position to offer much bigger wages. KN is clearly trying to build a sustainable football club and I’m sure by the the time the season starts we will have some decent signings.
