It's not like we'll be moving stadium regardless. It's things that Nagle talked about early on, giving us better audio, big screen, etc. 12 months in they've pumped money into improving areas for the office staff and changing rooms. We've still got terrible audio, a 25 year old scoreboard and no signal. He stressed in the beginning that the stadium would be a great fan experience on matchday, now it's all backtracking saying the stadium is too old to install these things, brum has proved that it's bollocks. What has improved for the fans? Pressure washing the trusses and some new signs at the back of the stands? We’re on the second scoreboard aren’t we? Didn’t it get changed about 8 years ago maybe more but moved from score / corner kick / half time graphic to video / advertising ?! A replacement scoreboard seems to be near the top of his priority list. I've got to say every time he mentions it I get the impression someone has fed him a load of bullshit as to why it can't be done! We're not talking a great feat of engineering or technological advancement here! Seemed to be some waffle about the cabling iirc which is obviously bull shit.

To all people moaning about nagle, just think how bad things could be if we still had Phil in charge, every penny been sucked out to pay for the club, or dean still in charge. We would have been in administration and relegated that season because of a points deduction. Not staying nagle been perfect. But let's be honest he is getting stuff done

I think the whole point is to not just improve the scoreboard but move it too and maybe even have 2. There very little point to just wacking a nice new and probably bigger one where it is now plenty of the ground cant see some of it. Said this before but imo we should have 2, 1 attached to the floodlight base between kilner and north stand and one on the floodlight base in the opposite corner between riverside and south stand. But this is obviously more complicated than just sticking a new one where existing cables are.

Wouldnt it just be better (and easier) to install a second one in the middle upper of the (Ex) Swimming Pool End?

New scoreboard, changing rooms etc will mean season ticket prices will have to go up. Hope everyones okay with that.

A* owners don't get teams relegated in their first season in charge. The guy talks the talk but has delivered nothing but failure. We're just over a couple of weeks from the season starting and we've got the same dross as last season. A*? What planet are you living on? Birmingham's owners got their team relegated in their first season too - but you seem to be lauding them? Spot on. To add to that, they were actually in the playoffs until they decided to sack their manager for Rooney…

I don,t think it is lack of willingness to make larger investment in the stadium etc.,more like lack of co-operation from Kirklees. Are they not skint? Selling their share would benefit the council tax payers a few quid.

"Royal with cheese" straight away just brings to mind Pulp Fiction. Feel for Dave and his family, let's hope it's all worth it when they finally arrive. Zeds dead baby, Zeds dead.

Poor Dave!! Hope the marriage is still in tact when they arrive Clark Griswald vibes! Safe journey and hopefully in the long run this will be a positive experience! Hopefully the drive through Bavaria to Austria will be a sweetener.

Selling their share would benefit the council tax payers a few quid. They wont make a penny from a sale, they will be relieved of any cost burdens the stadium currently has.

In fact when we entered Austria, I sang (to everyone’s annoyance) THE HILLS ARE ALIVE, WITH THE SOUND OF GRISWALDDDDDD Also I basically ordered the Royale with Cheese BECAUSE of Pulp Fiction. Never had the opportunity before

Don't want to drag the thread down, but European Vacation was a film which lead to a certain number of "awakenings" in my younger self.

...we were told some time ago that the final episode of the "Up The Town" series was already completely edited and produced, but for some strange reason of not wanting to upset Town fans, it was decided not to release in the immediate aftermath of relegation...but would instead see it released late May or early June. Its beyond that in late June now, and pre-season for NEXT season is already underway, my question therefore is......" when will we see the final UTT episode??" So it's August...can someone share a link to the final episode/epilogue to the Up The Town series that was fully edited and ready to upload 3 months ago? Thanks.

Euro Vacation there were a fair few scenes that blew my mind as a teen iirc including that "home movie" scene you've posted. I know they're 12a nowadays but that wasn't a rating back then so far as I remember?

To this day, if I ever miss my turning on a roundabout, I'll point out "Big Ben, Houses of Parliament".

I don't know how anyone can watch that and not feel positive. He obviously wants us to be successful on the pitch and for everyone (players, staff, fans) to enjoy that success in the best possible environment.
