Let's say the team he starts is the same that started the Sheff U game. If we're 1-0 down with around 20 minutes to go, who do we bring off the bench to try and get us back in the game? Ward? Headley? I also don't like the idea of Kane anchoring the midfield, nor am I keen on Spencer playing LCB. I quite like Koroma but he's not a natural striker either. That's the spirit It's just the way I see it going into the first game, that's not to say we won't be bringing more players in though. Who are the game changers you feel we have on the bench if we're chasing the game?

Probably one of the hardest fixtures we could have got first up. First goal will be crucial and i worry for us if they get it. Hopefully we’ll get a left footed centre half, a midfielder and a couple of strikers this week, that’d give me a lot more confidence. As it stands, 3-1 Posh. Think Posh only won 13 or their 23 home games last season...

Nailed on that Chris Conn-Clarke will score
Therefore I'll go 2-1 Town

So as not to deflect from canuckterrier 's excellent Prediction League, let me say now.... "ALL ABOARD" for the rollercoaster that I am sure 24/25 will bring. I think I'll wait to see the first lineup before deciding whether Danny The Goal Machine Ward is going to be our saviour, but I approach this match with great trepidation.

Our fate this season won't be determined by this game it's a tough one hoping for a win but would take a point and i also think we will improve as we go.

Interestingly negative on their chances. Peterborough are no mugs, they’ll be around the top eight guaranteed. If not they’ll go get Grant McCann in for his 1,942nd stint in charge. Who will then subsequently be replaced by Darren Ferguson. Just as Stuart McCall is announced as Bradford manager.

No not yet probably a few hundred left I was having a quick look earlier, reckon we've sold an additional 500 or so of the 700 extra.

I think this is a fixture between two sides that will start the season poorly but then rise up for a promotion push towards the end of the season. Both will be top 10 in May.
Because of who they are and the fact it's the first game of the season, I think there'll be the temptation to read too much into the result regardless of which way it goes. That said, I'd say a draw would be a point gained rather than 2 dropped.
My side for this:
3-5-2
Koroma Healey
Miller Kane Hogg Evans Sorensen
Spencer Helik Pearson
Nicholls
Subs: Maxwell Lees Headley Kasumu Wiles Ward Harratt

It seems they are worried about their back line.A “downgrade” on last season across the board. They are generally always decent going forward and score goals.I think if we can stop them getting into the space down the sides of the centre halves if/when we turn the ball over we should have enough going the other way to hurt them, even if no new striking additions come about this week. If they play 4-4-2 as they seem to think we should have enough to play Kane deeper as we will have the advantage numbers wise in there. He’d definitely help progressing the ball from defence to attack. That said I aren’t sure if the sheff Utd lineup was a pre cursor or not,he may not even have decided fully yet.It was said that others not involved in that game had already played another game that day. Personally with us been away from home and probably also not fully up to speed yet I think he’ll lean on hoggs experience. With that in mind I think evans or wiles miss out and I’m not sure which, hogg may drop out for the two home games possibly against supposedly “easier” opposition. Nicholls Lees Helik Spencer Sorensen Miller Hogg Wiles/Evans Kane Healey Koroma

Sounds like our donations to them, Bilokapic and Crichlow aren't too popular! Reading their forum makes me a bit more optimistic that we'll get a win.

Possibly, although I expect Duff might instill a bit more mental toughness in the side. Plus, we've moved on the likes of Burgzorg who would have undone all the good work the rest did. Seeing him fuck up attacks in favour of his own glory must have been disheartening.

Yeah I've seen it and contemplated doing it and then realised I knew sod all about any other team in the division lol Started doing one, but it ended up just being a mess and constantly changing my mind and ended up half the teams where I WANTED them to finish, rather than where I thought they would. IE I kept putting Brum only in the playoffs with every iteration I came up with

Got to be going for a win in every match this season be great to start with 3 points and we don’t like Peterborough so will feel even better. Pretty sure Hogg will be back in for this away game, Bojan to make the bench with Ward as options. 1-2 Town Healey Pen, Ward, late goal for them to make it nervy in last 5mins. Presumably you're suggesting that their goal will be a penalty, sandwiched between goals from Healey and Ward. Only, it looks like you've predicted that we'll get a penalty, which seems about as likely as us winning a cup game. Not going to happen.

I'm going for a score draw. 2-2 and Koroma to score both with fans telling KN to not bother with another striker.
