Or Palace 7-1. Or even 7-0 against Lincoln United in the FA cup in 1991? The legendary Frank Stapleton scored one of them I remember. Anyway, the state of some of the predictions on this thread! Have we learnt nothing over the years? I had totally forgotten about the Lincoln United game which I attended , 1991 , It does not seem that long ago! It would be nice to get 7 against Shrewsbury , however another 2-0 victory would be fine. Aye I attended that one too...they featured them on match of the day and they filmed them on the coach driving here and the deluded bunch actually thought they had a chance..bless em...

I think we expect them to park the bus. What’s your worst memories of bus parking down the years? Us or the opposition.
Mine by a country mile was against Swansea after they had an early red card. If they sat back any further, they’d have been on the fucking golf driving range. I’ve never been more frustrated at a match, all the while knowing that they’d hang on for a point. Alfie Mawson was in his element that day, the twat!

For those that may or may not remember: Hereford, Darlington (FA Cup round1), Burton, Workington, Southport, Doncaster on tv too, Bolton when they were 2 divisions below us and an aging Roger Hunt played are but some of the many games I have seen Town lose at home when we were expected to win. 1-0 would suit me fine. Home win of course! Barnet at home. Iconic defeat.

Or more specifically, I remember everything after the goal. I'd been covering for a mate's paper round and then missed my bus. Got into the ground and as I was running up the steps to the terrace heard a cheer as we went 1-0 up. I got to see the rest of the game though. Lucky me!

Didn't we lose 0-1 at home to a very mediocre Hereford team when we were flying high in 79/80 and after absolutely battering them for 90 mins plus?

I doubt Town have been heavier favourites than that game - Barnet were basically a punching bag. Embarrassing.

December wobble arrested by the signing of Kindon.

Missed that Reading game. We came back to UK 2 days after that game, maybe if I'd seen the result I might not have bought my season ticket. Missed that game but paid (I think) £40 more than my uncle Andy paid for his. Obviously being new to season tickets I didn't know about the early bird price and Andy wound me up saying they'd charged me extra because I hadn't had the trauma of the 0-3

Not Simpkin, he'd gone long before Buxton......Possibly Chris Topping? Sure Kindon was one. Yes, Topping, wasn’t Kindon. The three keepers were Rankin, Kindon & Lillis (in that order). PS On a separate subject Can some posters please stop pretending this is "Owlstalk" light.

Shrewsbury made just three changes for tonight's BSM Trophy match against Fulham U21. Their skipper, Winchester, was substituted with an injury after just 42 minutes. They also only named six substitutes out of the permitted seven.
They were also beaten 2-1 after taking the lead.

They didn't play too badly. Sagoe Jr and O'reilly very tricky out wide.

I did the Sheffield derby (ko 11am) prior with a Blades fan mate of mine. We were both pig sick at the end of a long Boxing day......Although the two best players in each match ended up playing for Town, your turn to guess?

How many Huddersfield fans approx Literally thousands……..the barrier bust during the game and there was fighting in lumps from memory. As a 10 yr old I loved the few away games I went to that year and can remember bits of some vividly - darlo in the fa cup, a big win at York and Rochdale. To score over 100 goals that season was phenomenal.
