Apologies if it's been mentioned. But the M62 will be closed again this weekend due to a new railway bridge being installed. Last weekends diversions added significant time on to people's journeys. Between junction 19 and 20 Open this weekend next set of closers is set for next Friday the 20th I believe. |

I have a good feeling about this fixture , I think Town will beat Bolton, 1-3 to Town , it would be nice to see the new man come on and score (Freddie). I've gone for a draw in the prediction league, but I'm tempted to change it to 1-2 with FL scoring the winner on debut. But then I think "what if I change it and we draw?". Hate these stupid dilemmas, had the same should I/shouldn't I feelings when I stopped doing the lottery  |

Never saw Town win at Burnden Park (don't suppose many will have) but I've seen all the victories (3) at the new ground in which Jonny Hogg has played every minute, the first time just after he signed in 2013 he was mom by a country mile & even Adam Clayton sat close by commented 'what a player'......We could do with one of those performances on Saturday, a key fact is with eleven men on the pitch we don't concede goals.

Match referee American Alex Chilowicz has done more Sacramento games (3) than these two opponents, his only game which involved Bolton was at Leyton Orient in January.....They lost 1-0, same again then Alex.

Anyone know our allocated pubs for Saturday? It's The Beehive apparently which is a 25 minute walk from Horwich Parkway station past the ground. Think we're going to jump out for a few at Picadilly instead, then get the last train in before kick off. Seems to be decent interest in this one. Only around 350 tickets left which means around 3,400 shifted so far... |

I feel less worried about the 3 losses than a lot of people. Two of them in the cup and pens or red cards in all of them, which is a concern but less of one.
I trust Duff to fix it for the Bolton game. Cagey 1-1, which is fine at this stage of the season away at a promotion rival.

Big game.
We need to get the three points and stop the negativity creeping in. I include myself in that.
KN apparently has a “very low low low tolerance of red cards and Duff has been informed of that “.
Pearson and Ward owe us big time as both of those red cards were avoidable. In fact their decisions have helped create that negativity. Walsall we would probably have won and Rotherham might have been a different outcome.
Duff seems like a strong character and I’m sure both have been told.
My team would be this
Nichols - had a good solid start to the season.
Sorensen - also a solid start.
Miller - my favourite signing. Great first touch.
Helik - can do so much better
Lees - see above.
Llonwijk - grew into the Rotherham game.
Midfield - massive conundrum.
Hogg - just. Has to pass it better.
Iorpenda- deserves a start
Hodge - looked tidy on debut.
Wiles - played more in a 10 role.
Lapado - seems to be fit.
Koroma would have been in there but getting back so late won’t help.
Marshall - also been away.
Bench

The lad that played the full 90 against Doncaster in midfield. Can’t remember his name.

Sounds like potentially Radulovic could be available from the bench with Kane and Kasumu not too far off a return.Some positive news I guess.
Mentioned fitness of ladapo who’s done a full pre season training wise but hasn’t played any match minutes so I’d imagine as I thought that he will also come from the bench,koroma and Marshall unless koroma is absolutely done in from all the travel.

3746 tickets allocated to town fans 375 tickets left , so far sold just short of 3400 tickets . Gonna be a very decent following . Tickets stop being on sale at 2pm Friday . Possible sell out .

Doesn’t sound great re Healey though Think it could be taken either way.if it is the nerve problem and he’s not actually pulling/pulled anything but just feeling pain from tne nerve I wonder if that could be manager with pain relief to be fully rectified at the end of the season with some sort of op. If may turn out that it needs sorting now however in which case he could be done. Let’s hope it’s the first one. |

Been told by an ex-physio that when you patch up an ACL with a graft from the hamstring (MD said this is the case with Healey in the presser) it causes problems for the rest of your career, which somebody else on the thread (who has had one) confirmed. |
