Seems to have been some proper upset folk since the recent losses but, bloody hell, calm down!
- We have one of the best starts to a league campaign in recent years (as far as I can see, since Hoyle took over - or the modern era in my mind - only better start was the promotion season under Wagner!)
- We have a new set of lads AND manager that will take a fair bit of time to bed in and gel
We have not been smashed by anyone yet and look solid in defence, and still need to get the front line fit to see what they are made of (yes, yes there are issues there but we should have enough to get to January / and / or a player our of contract / loan etc etc )
In that promotion season - basically one of the best ever as a Town fan - we had a spell when we went 8 games with just one win and had 5 losses, including a 5-0!! Can you imagine if that happened now? It would be DUFF OUT, NAGLE IS A NIGHTMARE, SACK CARTWIRGHT! BLAH BLAH!
But what happened that season?......
so.....
chill.
UTFT.

There hasn't been too much excessive moaning. Slightly more than needed, but aside from Peterborough every game has been a bit shaky at certain instances.
I agree the squad and signings need more time to gel and learn the new managers ways, the striker issue is still a long running joke though. General criticism I believe is warranted but another month or so is needed.

I haven't read anyone calling for Duff out so where did that come from and even the people who think losing to a League Two club is not great I doubt are wetting their bed. Time will tell there is a long way to go but the lack of strikers is not a good omen.

Personally I think the fact that its 2024 and Danny Ward and Jonathan Hogg continue to grace the blue and white stripes is enough for more than a bit of concern.

STRIKER SHORTAGE. 4 games in and we're having to pull forwards from the academy, nothing bed wetting about that. Anyone that thinks we're going to be up there challenging for the league this season is deluded. Some may be happy to clap about that, but I'm certainly not.

UTT , no harm in a little bit of bitching then we regroup and go again . You can tell expectations are high , we just need to back the boys to the hilt and fingers crossed at the end of season we will all be celebrating. The fans are travelling in numbers which is always a good sign. Keep positive and most importantly keep backing our beloved club.

You know you don't have to read the threads/posts if they upset you so much....methinks it's you bed wetting over all this.. It's the thought police. Weird carry on isn't it, folk trying to shut down debate. Seems quite common at the moment! Begs the question why do people get their knickers in a twist when people moan about town?! Odd phenomenon, football fans moan, it's what we do, get used to it or don't read it. Fwiw I think we were all hoping for nailed on promotion, it's dawning on folk there's a good chance that won't happen, so they're moaning. I'd be concerned if they weren't, that would indicate apathy.

Best start to a league season in recent years... but its the first time in recent years we have been in League 1, so its not at all comparable for starters.
The new manager and players gelling in isnt really a thing is it, as most of the new players came in that early that they have had a full pre-season, and a number of friendlies before 6 competitive games.
"We should have enough to get to January" - and that is exactly where we are going wrong, by trying to do just enough. The fact we are already thinking about getting through to January when we have just had months to bring in players isnt good enough, simply put.
Results wise its been a good start, there is no denying that, performance wise we have had 3 good halfs out of 8 in the league, which were the first 3, its been downhill since.
You seem to worry about people who want to debate their concerns on here, so much so that you have made a completely new thread about it to go with all the others. I would maybe suggest fitting some plastic sheets of your own to the bed, as its clearly upsetting you.

If you have watched the games this season and you’re not even slightly concerned then that is surprising! The aim should absolutely be automatics, and we look MILES off of a team capable of that.

Don’t mind a winge once in awhile but happiness is much easier to attain in life with a positive attitude , HTFC is a major part of my social life and if I was to look at things with a negative slant it would be easy to get down in life , I’ve started to look at things with a positive slant , I allow myself rants and complain after events even on here and then try and see the positives . KN is trying to do a good job I appreciate this , some may wish to rant and put negative slants on everything . I think I will enjoy the season far more with a positive attitude , this isn’t a dig at you just a different way of living life with less stress and more pleasure. I also get that ranting on here is an outlet and sometimes helps. 👍

Of course it's bed wetting when there's a couple of dozen entitled half wits that regurgitate the same old moaning shite post after post after post. Christ man, you've posted more in 2 years than I have in 17, and you're up to your knees in stale piss most of the time. If you've got a point to make, make it, then move on. It's not hard. You're not debating anything, you're (collectively) just fucking whinging that something's always not just exactly how YOU'D like it to be.

Saturday really should not have shocked anyone to be fair, there is a lot of hard work to be done, to get us where the club wants to be.I have defend preformances and the club on plenty of issues, over the last 2 years (thanks for noticing my length on this forum ). I always try and have a balance, but on Saturday it was very poor, if the aim is what it is . If it was to be mid table at best, then Saturday was fine, but if its to get a promotion spot, then no as i say big improvements need to happen for this to happen, i think thats fair to say to be honest.

Think a month ago most would have been pretty happy with 9 points from the opening 4 games. We haven't been great all the time but we havent been shit all the time either and weve had some key injuries already, a new manager, new coaches and half the team are new, so perhaps a bit of patience is justified if its great football a fan is waiting for to compliment whats been a decent enough start points-wise?
We also have no divine right to succeed so maybe people should lower their 'what we should be doing' thoughts a bit. We arent a 'moneyed' club even at this level.

That did not see the decline in the last 3 games and would be shocked again, if we did not get promoted, but if you highlight this early on your "moaning" or "bed wetting" . When in reality, your just highlighting something .
