Do you think we can send Evans back to Bristol Rovers under the trade descriptions act? Money back inside 90 days? I hate player press conferences but we saw absolutely that he doesn’t give a fuck from his presser this week. I totally understand us going after a club captains and player of the season; but we’ve been fucked over here. Midfield is toothless again

We as fans deserve so much better. We have been through the absolute pits these last few seasons and dropping down a league seemed a new start and a way to enjoy watching us again. Fast forward just 9 games and it’s becoming a chore and misery to watch. Not many other fanbases would put up with years of dross as well as we have. Time to vote with our feet and stop attending just like the spineless charlatans who wear our shirt just give up. The burden with being a Town supporter is that we turn up match after match with hope in our hearts only to go home disappointed. We know this will happen but next game we think; perhaps today we will play great and have a big win and of course we don't ... The received sign of madness is doing the same thing time after time and expecting a different result! Perhaps we should take note....

He did okay, problem is the rest are so shite it makes him look slightly decent. Agree totally - hes just no good imho. He never plays more than 4 / 5 games before getting injured and its no good winning the ball if you simply then give it away. Mind you, hes no worse than ben "chris holland mk2" wiles and antony "decent free kick but offers nowt else" evans. Chris Holland was nowhere near as bad as Ben Wiles.

Did someone suggest our XG stats are the highest in the division?
I know we probably shouldn’t judge this after tonight, but I’m struggling to think of too many times where we’ve pressed and created loads of chances in all the league games this season.
We have an absolute damp squib of a strikeforce, Healey is probably the best of the bunch but he’s never fit…
Hardly surprising strikers don’t want to sign for a team that creates very little for them.

10 points behind Birmingham after our first 9 games and they have played a game less is some start to the promotion push! They were the team we were meant to be competing with to try and win the league according to the bookies. 15th after 9 games is an utterly appalling start,, can’t see where we are getting a win from I’m afraid. Long, long season ahead, we will be in league one for a decade at least in my opinion.

What an absolute fucking disgrace that second half performance was. We created absolutely nothing, I genuinely cant recall even a half chance of any note. Should have been about 4 or 5 -0, they missed some absolute sitters. Some of the signings arent just bad signings, they are absolutely criminal. Genuinely was Ladapo actually scouted? Or did Cartwright just throw him a couple of years in desperation because he failed miserably during the summer? The worrying thing is how we are going to get shut of these players, or are we going to have to watch this until they all run out of contract, cus until a lot go, we wont be bringing anyone else in. We could be talking 2 or 3 years now until we can clear out this lot. We are plummetting down the table, FIFTEENTH after 9 games, just let that sink in. We could genuinely be looking at a double relegation because we are spent, performance wise, results wise, transfer wise, running of the club. Nagle needs to get off twitter, get his arse over here and sort this club out, or fuck off and let someone else do it who actually seems to be interested. While he is leaving the football side of things in the hands of Cartwright, there is still a long way further we will sink. I dont think I have ever known as bad a director of football at this club. We arent just signing duds, we are signing players that wouldnt look out of place in the Conference, that look like we havnt even bothered to have them watched by anyone. We all know that Cartwright wont go anywhere though, just watch as manager after manager take the fall for it. You look at all the players Birmingham have signed, they just got the transfers done. Now im not suggesting for a minute we follow suit with spending that amount, but we couldnt even get Taylor over the line. Just pay the fucking money if thats the player you want, or cheap out, sign Ladapo and watch him struggle to score 5 goals all season. Honestly, the amount of money we waste getting the cheap options, it would have been cheaper in the long run to just go for quality in the first place. Just on Taylor. That was nothing to do with us not paying, it was Luton that failed to get their replacement in, so pulled the plug on the deal. If you want a player in arguably the most important position, where we have been lacking for years, the difference between a promotion tilt and mid table, you make them an offer they cant refuse. Do you honestly think we had replacements lined up for Helik or Nicholls if someone had come in with decent money. We would have taken it as any club outside the Prem do. From what has been said by many people and media, it was going to be a loan, and if thats the case its all the eggs in 1 basket, and there is no way we should have been sat on our hands waiting without a credible alternative. Whichever way you look at it, its amateurish at best

Cowshed need to have a banner saying Cartwright out, similar to Orcus in the boardroom

Completely pointless but I would try us in a 4-1-2-1-2 formation as we don't have any wingers.
Chapman
Sorenson Pearson Spencer Miller
Hogg DMF hodge and iorpenda CMF Evans AMF
Koroma Marshall

Been out for a curry with the wife. Hadn’t a clue what the score was till 10 minutes ago. Best way to deal with this club at present is to try not to think about it. Except it’s impossible to do that.

Played pretty well first 20 mins, reverted to type after. They go 1-0 up and we show no urgency or desire to try and get back in the game. Did we create a single chance after they scored? Time wasting with the two throwings towards the end just showed the lack of desire of the players.
7 defeats in 8 now and 15th in the table, try and put a positive spin on that.

Played well against team who will probably finish first and were obviously a class above us.
Midfield looked far better without Hogg.
Shame the two strikers then two substitute strikers didn’t offer anything. The No9 Rudlovic did nothing all match.
The two wingbacks did ok but look fucked. Need two more wingbacks in January to play 3-5-2.
The young lad in goal did very very well.
Big match against Barnsley coming up

Second half was pathetic.
We desperately needed to get on the ball and keep it, so he brings Hodge on with only 15 to go.
I just can't be bothered when I see inept performances time and time again, year on year.
So little energy and purpose.
Only a handful can hold their head high.
How many times will Wiles pass the ball across the pitch straight to the opposition?!
Grrrrr😡

My club is my club and I will never not support them
But I’m sick of the same tedious shit every single season mistake after mistake after mistake at the club. I’m completely fed up with them from top to bottom.

Looked fitter after a pre season of beers and golf with Warnock. I’ll stress this again - with Warnock we would have been safe in the Championship. That was a sackable offence in its own getting rid of him for Moore.

First 20mins we weren't too bad. Not to say we were great, but not too bad. After that, barring a short period in the 2nd half, their quality told. No great shock in a way when you look at how they threw money around like confetti in the summer

We gave a chunk of minutes tonight to FOUR strikers.
NOT ONE looked above Conference level, genuinely
I know about lack of service etc and what a god awful collection of midfielders we had but that doesn't exonerate them. The Birmingham defenders didn't break sweat
Duff isn't blameless but he's not a magician
Still, the shameless, and wealthy Danny Ward may be back after Xmas...

That was a sackable offence in its own getting rid of him for Moore. We would have been safe under Warnock. But it would only have prolonged relegation for another year. I dont believe for a second that we would have brought anyone in after Warnock along with the right players who would have turned us around. We desperately needed to appoint a forward thinking director of football, who brings in a manager and 11 players of the right quality that are suited to the style of that manager. Thats the only way we turn the corner to get us out of this slump we are in as a club. As much as I would have stuck with Warnock, it was just delaying the inevitable. Unfortunately we dont seem to have an owner that knows how to reset the club.
