www.htafc.com/supporters/h-townKev is getting everything right off the pitch to be fair to him. Fair play. Question is though, what will the pricing be like…

Looks decent. I hope there are more screens up for when it opens showing early and late KOs - that for me would be a big attraction to going down.

That looks very good and thank you Mr Nagle, all we need now is a team to match it.

Looks like a less homely re-imagining of the Magic Rock Taproom.
(I'm not writing this in a negative way, I don't think its aimed at me (and neither is the Magic Rock Taproom!) as its target customer!)

Are there any screens to watch the half 12 kick offs?
Looks good and I can see it taking off. I hope they don’t employ any of the kiosk staff though!

At the end of the day soccer is not a working class sport anymore, how many normal working family can afford to go to a 1 off game anymore?. Buy the matchday tickets, then you have the fan zone with it's inflated prices, then you go into the stadium with it's inflated prices, the club shop selling 3 quid hats for 5 times more with the branding of HTFC on it, a jacket for 135 quid?!!, i saw the post where a poster had some in his garage cost him a few quid each!!, then the family sit down and watch dross division 3 soccer thinking my god what is this garbage?!, leave the game probably around with around 100 dollar plus hole in bank account and say never again!!. Promotion or not the season ticket/ card/pass or what ever its called these days will probably rise, then the 100+ page thread will start all over again, if Mr Nagle freezes it again he be a god like he was at announcement for this seasons prices!!, ok a few on this forum stuck to their guns and didn't renew. Soccer is money motivated now managers are 1 tactic only, controlled liked puppets on a string by the CEO, the players even in division 3/4 think they are film stars. The modern day game is on its arse, love to see it in 20 years time but probably won't be around to witness it thank god🙏👍.

Seems to me that it would be an ideal place to watch away games for those who can't get there, but there is a little voice in my head saying that you can't do this.

Yes, Saturdays at 3 p. m. aren't allowed. Would it be too complicated to start allowing clubs that have sold their away allocation to show the match live?

We went in Boltons fan zone after the 4-0. Outside job, with food vans, beer, big screen with the late kick off on. Really good set up. Would be a bit chilly this time of year which gives this offering from Town the edge by the looks of it...

Its going to generate income for the club and that's what its for. Full stop. Just like merchandise. KN thinks big and if some people are not happy with the prices just don't buy it.I am of a age where a basic tea Shirt with a Town is enough. Younger people, up the 20/25 have a completely different opinion. Went Crawley on Saturday and their local bar was excellent. Its become very clear that KN is prepared to invest a certain amount without seeing a return. But the long term is making the club self sufficient which to be honest is probably a sound business proposition.

Having an indoor facility like this is amazing. Stop whining about prices, everyone is free to stay in spoons until 2:45 if they wish.

The way the club is being handled off the pitch is really impressive. Hats off to Kev, not very often in recent times you get an outsider to spend his hard earned on improving a town like ours.

I’m up for the Charlton game so I’ll give H Town a go. Hopefully it’ll effectively replace what the supporters lost with Canalside.
Interesting to see a few positive comments about Redz at Crawley. There’s an even better supporters bar than that at Bromley and Gillingham and they are both open throughout the week, not just match days.

Tickets for the launch night seem to be going well , over 100 already gone. Going down and will try the food and a couple of beers Tuesday. Expect this will be our choice for a pre match swill from now on . Hopefully enough bar staff on to keep queues to a minimum

This has been needed for decades! Right at the stadium too. Should be brilliant. I can see it being rammed. I can't visualise what a venue for 800 looks like but it sounds big and hopefully enough to be able to enjoy without spending the whole time queuing. The food prices seem about right. Not mentioned but hope they do decent coffee too for anyone not fancying beer and a decent range of kids food and drink.

I echo some of your positivity around this Westie. I don't see potential increase in revenue and a place that could help create more of a buzz as a bad thing. There might not be a direct huge impact on on the field matters but it could play a part. I've spent many an afternoon watching football in Shearer's bar in Newcastle before a night out and found it to be a great atmosphere especially after they've won. I also appreciate your sentiments Orinoco but unfortunately I think that what you speak of is just an example of the global problem that exists. You could easily spend a full day's wage on going out for a meal and it being naff. The greed of others has led to less for those at the bottom and now the middle are being sucked in. It's about finding those things you do enjoy in life. I consider myself as more of a football fan first rather than blindly supporting Town. As much as they are my priority if the game is crap I know I'll be able to find a game somewhere that I can enjoy for the weekend. I'm sure there will be a few that spout the not a proper fan nonsense but it's not going to stop me appreciating how people play the game. There are enough dichotomies in the world that cause life to be miserable rather than a few men and women trying their best to kick a bag of air around.
