Will away fans be allowed in?
If so should be ok most games, but could get lively if 30 or so knobheads from certain teams gain entry.
Presume bouncers will be on’t door anyway.

Stadium announcer Paul Ramsden will be hosting in here. He previously compered one of the hospitality lounges where, I understand, he came across to some as loud, lewd and laddish and those properties were not universally appreciated!! I think he will be very popular and hit the right tone for this facility.

Don’t see problem with a fan zone with a host. Went to
Leyton Orient a while ago
I admit but ended up pre match in a Social
Club with a comedian on and really enjoyed it. Let’s just wait for it to open and take it from there.

It depends on how loud they have the speakers on!! If you want a chat then get there early and find a seat away from the speakers! Looks great, next time I’m up north at a game I will definitely be calling in. As others have mentioned, purely regarding the stadium improvements cannot fault KN.
Slight side note as I used to work there a long time back as a lifeguard so I am familiar with the space. I understand the offices have been taken over by town and done up and the gym is now this new swanky bar but does anybody know what’s happened/happening with the pool/ pool changing rooms/small pool & sauna/ sports hall? Thats quite a big space all in and I imagine it would cost a fortune to change the pool in particular into anything else. It would be a shame as that pool was one of/if not the best in Huddersfield.

Difficult to visualise how many will attend. I know the rope walk used to be full but I'm guessing that was a lot smaller. Hope it's not full when I get there, really looking forward to having a pint in a proper bar before kick off. I don't plan on complaining about anything but I can't guarantee it. What I won't do is complain that others might complain. And no, this is not me complaining about softboys earlier post. |

Been to the launch night . First thoughts ... Bigger than the club photos made it look , and pretty smart . Plenty TVs dotted around the place and will be showing the live games. 2 bars with plenty of staff serving , dont think there will be a problem getting served. Food was ok , not worth the £8.50 for the hot dog . hopefully the bigger match day menu will be better. For me its a winner , and definitely will be our pre match watering hole from now on.
