Very similar vibe to Magic Rock. Sadly the beer is just the same as you get in the stadium, so for me, pretty shite. They will be showing the live lunchtime kickoffs though on the numerous screens. Additionally Hoggy was hilarious tonight. Q. So when Town needed a win and a draw in the 1st premier league season with Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal to play what did you think? A. Yeah, piece of piss wasn't it? And then after the Chelsea game we just tossed it off against Arsenal. I'm sure this will be up for review in the medium term (along with the full gamut of Stadium supplier arrangements as existing contracts come to an end). The array of matchday beer options seems to run right to the core of the 'product' KN is putting out in Sacramento. It'll do for now as they get it up and running... (PS - Mine's a pint of Landlord in a glass for any club staff reading ) Everything is under the Heineken umbrella at the moment. The free drinks were sponsored by them last night too.

Used to be glasses in Ropewalk up to a time in the day and then they'd switch to the plastic ones. Suppose it might be down to logistics, rather than having a glass collector and pot washer they can just chuck the cups away once they've been used. I think they'll hide behind it being a safety issue but this bar is going to be home fans only. So doesn't say much about us as fans if the Club can't trust us not to glass one another! Sounds like mainly positive feedback so far though. Personally will still stay in Town pre-match for drinking for a few reasons but I don't think I was the target audience anyway. I complained about that once many years ago, the manager on duty told me it was a police instruction. That was an easy out for him!

Looks good but why plastic cups especially on a non match day? Big turn off for me in bars is that, especially when it costs £6+ Plastic cups will be a huge turn off. If I'm drinking in a bar I expect a glass. It's not a proper bar if the cups are plastic. No doubt some health and safety crack pot has been listened to instead of being told to stop being so silly. Re single file queuing I was reading an article recently which suggested gen Z might be to blame as they don't know how to get served at a bar! You see this in lord Wilson, one person starts it and before long you have an empty bar but a queue running half way through the pub. Absolute madness!! It's a strange phenomenon, can't help but notice that younger folk can't cross the road without waiting for the green man too. Similar thing maybe. Maybe they think they're American or have we stopped teaching the green cross code?! It's an odd one - definitely not just the younger generation but probably started by it. Seems as though they've got nice long bars in this place so it'll be a shame if you have a single file queue snaking through the place.

Looks like a great facility, be definitely giving it try, should imagine there will be further developments if and when we get control of the stadium. Be nice to be able to leave the bar at 2 minutes to 3 and still make the kick off !!

Happy to drink something slightly away from my usual tipple if it means the club gets the money. Dittò within reason. Main reason I stopped doing pre match in Magic Rock was the volume of people to toilet facilities. A tie up with MR in HTown should work?

Why not just use glasses? Worked ok in the gas club. My answer is no idea, anyone attending last night will be sent a feedback email. I’ll be sure to add that when I submit mine. I would guess, and this is only a guess, that as the place doubles up as a concourse for the Terriers Together Lower that they will have to use plastic glasses like any other concourse in every other stadium. They could, I suppose, use glass before and after the match and just use the plastic glasses during half-time. Something to feedback on for those who went maybe. I went last night and thought it was a great venue. Very much a 'sports bar' vibe and you could tell it had been thought about from a design perspective with the colours and lighting which is great. I agree could do with a few more screens if the football is on but that's something the can easily add in time if the demand dictates they are needed. Drinks wise it is pretty standard football stadium stuff. I suppose if they are in the other stands then makes sense to have them in H-Town as a contract for supply etc will already be in place. I appreciate there are a lot who wont pick whats on offer as first choice but if you've got a potential customer base of 20k folk then there will always be a small minority will wont be catered for. Food looked good, if not a little pricey. I think the hot dogs were £8.50 which I think is way too much really, especially if going as a family it can soon turn into a hefty bill. I suggested on the feedback to maybe look to introduce a kids meal deal type thing to help with that. All in all though a good venue, and somewhere I will be going before matches to save myself having to walk into Town and back down again before the match.

I complained about that once many years ago, the manager on duty told me it was a police instruction. That was an easy out for him! Not if you know me. Gave her a right go about them not being the law makers and having zero leverage for such utter stupidity. Must be the most placid pub I’ve ever been in

As an aside , I think the player Q&A are a waste of time.Pre prepared questions that nobody is interested in , no hard questions at all . Just stick the footy on Tv and maybe get a live band or something for the half time break

Just stick the footy on Tv and maybe get a live band or something for the half time break All the questions were submitted by fans - some were combined etc and when it was clear that the 16 individual questions and 3 for all 4 players would not fill the evening, a few additional ones were added in by the favourite compère of BlueValour 😬🔵⚪️🔵⚪️🔵⚪️🔵 The format on Saturday will be no notes/questions submitted etc - let’s see how much fun we can have!!!

Thats fair enough togterrier , if the questions submitted were tame what more can you do. Good to know it will be unscripted Saturday. Looking forward to it , been missing something like this since Canalside closed to fans. Hopefully we can fill the place week in week out.

Did I see correctly that one of the players was wearing the 91/92 Gola home top? I’ve looked at the retro collection in the shop and can’t see it available?

Another shocker, there’s no such thing as Father Christmas.
