Madness. Is the Geordie One really putting all this down to the red card against Orient? If he is, by god does he hold a grudge.
I think he's dropped a bollock letting McCombe go.
What the hell does Nathan Clarke make of all this I wonder?

Got a feeling the lad will perform for us. Sneaky suspicion that he will turn out the better of our 2 loan signings (although I'm obviously hoping Parkin performs).

I'll definitely give him a chance. I also think the lad is kinda brave for coming here. He isn't stupid, he knows he is not only coming from L**ds but also had the problem of his dad's amazing work here. So I think it shows a bit of guts to say yeah I wanna go play football for them because lets face it, the way football is now he could've stayed at L**ds and counted his money.

He's good at this level IMO, when Kay and Mccombe look dodgy. Worth a try and a clean slate, does not deserve any stick yet.

Very mixed feelings about this.
Son of Steve Bruce; plays for L**ds; got wound up by Town fans so much he got sent off; vomits on way out for 2nd half. Not got a lot going for him really!!??
On the other hand, always played above this level and some who know how he plays better than I do, think he's good.
I'm hoping that the key to this lies in the comments by LC about McCombe's move to PNE - namely that McCombe needs to be playing regularly etc. So if he is here for back up (no. 4) whilst McCombe comes up to speed elsewhere, then maybe it's a good move.
Whatever, when he pulls a Town shirt on and plays for us, we should support him, like we would for any player doing that.

I wouldn't be surprised if Bruce doesn't get a game, when alls said and done he is back up as Morrison was last season and Cooper this.

whats with the tinkering???we are 43 unbeaten ffs. No signings now til January. Clark would have got pelters if he hadn't signed any back up if we get any suspensions/injuries, which all tend to start piling up over the xmas period. Lee out, Parkin in. McCombe out, Bruce in. Good management in my eyes. If you read Clarks comments re: Boom Boom, he says McCombe drops off boil if not in team regularly so a loan is ideal, especially at our level. Goes to PNE, gets games, comes back ready to go(if needed). As for AB, once he puts Town shirt on I don't give a shit who his dad is and who he is on loan from. Town player....all we need to know.

A voice of sanity stants ! Its a super piece of business for me - we only have 3 games before the xmas fixtures and thats a month away. Mccombe is unlikely to start any at the moment so it makes sense to send him out to get some games instead of stagnating here not featuring (and Clark does have a point re off the boil if swindon is anything to go by). The Bruce one is more of a puzzle to me, but i suppose its ensuring we have some cover in case of need, particularly as one is going out.

If you support town then you support any player who pulls on a town shirt simple as that. Lets all calm down and see how thinks pan out over the coming months, instead of jumping to conclusions before they have kicked a ball. we are in the 3rd tier of football and in my mind attracting players to the club that a few years ago we could only dream of, and no doubt the envy of many teams at this level.

Out of all the people claiming how shit he is, how many have actually watched him enough to make an informed opinion. If he turns out to be shit, then so be it but lets give him a chance. McCombe is hardly Beckenbauer is he?

McCombe is hardly Beckenbauer is he? To be fair there are only 3 or 4 on here calling him shit and one of them can't seem to string a sentence of more than 4 words together without effing it in most of his posts. Can't be taken seriously. :udders:

AB is a town player now so we have to give him a chance. All that matters is promotion to the championship and i don't care who plays as long as the end product is promotion, lets give the lad a chance. :udders: :udders: :udders:

I hope Lee's kids don't piss him off like his staff and players, they'll be out the door and living in the garden shed! Cross a Geordie at your peril. Must be all the broon they sup.

He's a professional footballer. He'll put other allegiances aside and give 100%. For the time he's a Town player his evil paymasters up the road won't even enter his head.

How can those slating Bruce doubt Clark? Get behind the team FFS whoever is in the shirt. Pathetic attitudes and they'll bring them into the ground which is even worse! TShirt throwers alert........
