Devastated. Not because we signed him but because we let McCombe go. Id have sent cooper back if it had to be like for like. Really cheesed off. Signing a Leeds reject is not what I expect from a side harbouring the ambitions we have

Aside from the fact that he comes from that mob down the road (when was the last time that happened?) it looks a shrewd move to me. McCombe gets some much needed match time and we get what should prove to be an equally capable but more versatile replacement. As someone earlier noted I am most impressed with him having the balls to take this move in the first instance. If he shows similar character on the pitch he will see us right. F*cking yid b*stard

Well, we all have to accept he's here and I expect fans to back him. I really hope he does well because that's the only way he's going to win over the shortsighted muppets

If he performs he will be just fine.
If he puts a foot wrong he will be crucified quicker than any other player in town history.
Just as it should be :udders:
Good luck fella. Sink or swim?

All these football geniuses slagging off a player before he's kicked a ball.. I can't say I'm overjoyed but the vitriol is scandalous.. At the end of the day he has played consistently at a higher level and if he is Tish he can go back... So what's the problem exactly ? He ll do for me.

Doesn't sound too badon the floor and probably better than we have: Good for him. Hope he finds a permanent move in January. Not the worst player, but I don't think he's much use to us in future, not good enough to be a regular CB at a club chasing promotion (however half-arsedly and underfunded) to the Premier League. Would they like to do a loan one, get one free with O'Brien? Didnt mind Bruce. Better than Bromby i see him and O`Dea as very simular players to be honest. Dont think Bruce was a bad defender. He was prone to letting the ball bounce ok, but surely its the coaches job to work on getting rid of bad habits like that. It was his only major problem He would never develop into the player his father was, though he'd give him a run in the ugly stakes Good move for him, should be better than what they've got. Wouldn't mind them getting promoted cheap away day and quite like the how much they hate us, hopefully they'll make it permanent Admittedly i've chosen the best comments

I don't care who he's played for, what he's done or who his dad is/was ... I'm just bothered that he's not actually any good.

why exactley have we brought in the yiddish off spring of 1 of the men who attempted to rape and rob our club, while at the same time letting go a defender who, despite looking/playing/running like a giraffe has in the main done a solid job? all hail king trotman

Leeds fans views: Something must have happened between Bruce and Grayson because he's found himself completely frozen out and he's not the worst defender we have albeit quite error prone(sound familiar? ) Not frozen out...he was shocking early last season and got progressively worse...Leeds had one of, if not the worst defensive record in the Championship at the time and it improved drastically after he was dropped. He was poor in pre season, but then got injured and missed the first couple of months due to injury, was expected back end of September but picked up a further niggle...and he's just back in training now. Poor temperament and seems to fall apart under pressure...not sure I'd want to throw him in vs Charlton and Wednesday! Hope we sign him up longer term tho...cos that means he's done well and we're promoted.

Clever bit of business ... he's here to see the end of the unbeaten run, act as scapegoat and then back down the road! ;D

Alex Bruce knows what stick he got when playing here, so actually signing for us shows to me that the lad has a lot of bottle. Give the lad a chance. The current cetre half pairing knew that their places were safe as both JM and LC were not really a threat. Most Town fans I spaek to will be glad to see this move i.e. JM out, experienced Championship CB in.

Regular in the Leeds side that did well last season, only out of team because of injury on way back just needs match fitness. Fair enough. He's always been popular in championship. Should be good for us.
