Seems crazy to me. I guess we all see something in him but he has a serious lack of consistency.

Get him sold quick. No-one will bat an eye lid if Kluivert is appointed. It's a good day for bad news.

id say sell, get what ever money for new manager to spend on other areas of the squad ie defence/strikers. think midfield is covered anyway with coady, hogg and butterfield, then the youngsters ie billing sinnott and we still have the inigma that is gobern.

They say there's no smoke without fire and there's been a trail of grey noxious smelly stuff trailing behind Oliver since the January window. As with Clayton, I expect this to gather momentum as the days roll by and no doubt he will be burdening the wages clerk at another championship club by September.

How about shifting the likes of Stead and Paterson before getting rid of first teamers for a meager amount (once Man United have taken their share).

Footballing genius/insight at it's best, why didn't the club think of that. Definitely worth getting in touch with someone at the club and share your thoughts.

By the way Rocky I'm still awaiting my PM apologising that you questioned me over Robins, I was right all along.... Ah, but I don't think you were right all along! . This is a thread about Norwood though, so sent you a PM about MR.

If Adams is selling Plks for Norwood he won't last long in the management game Pilks has a poor playing record at Norwich - 75 games in 3 seasons. I think Norwood is just what Norwich need - and they have plenty of brass .

Rumours that Reading have made a £1.25 mill bid for him, may explain why he wasn't involved yesterday. Thoughts? On his way according to Sky Sports. Just hope he can't play tomorrow and do a number on Town, as most ex-players seem to!

I think the fact more people are bothered about the possibility(complete lack of more like) of Patrick Kluivert coming as manager rather than the fact we are selling Norwood says a lot about the guy. I read he is regarded to be 'one of the best playmakers outside the premier league'. Based on a 5 min youtube clip I would agree. In real life he isn't strong enough, consistent enough or simply good enough to be in a good championship side. Thanks for your efforts Ollie but you won't be missed.

Hopefully at least 1 mill from that and the left overs of the Clayton deal - although I do realise this is an ideal thing for a fan rather than Hoyle who may want to decrease debts etc... Just Please sign a solid centre back and a target man whoever it is!!! (Powell)

Good business really, but i do feel town could be setting themselves up for an absolute hammering from the fans depending how the next few weeks go.
If we piss about and a new manager doesnt come in with enough time to asses the squad and promptly make some crucial signings then the knives are going to be out. Bottom of the league, shipping goals and sold 2 of our better players for big money.

Meanwhile St Ledger is sat twiddling his thumbs wondering if he will sign for us. Mental.
