Im not really advocating giving him the job. We may have better options. I'll support whoever dean decides he wants to go with. Its all pot luck IMO I just find it hilarious that theres this idea that even considering someone who's achieved what he has as a manager is somehow beneath the mighty Huddersfield town! Some people are utterly deluded IMO Nothing wrong with folk wanting the best for our club and different folk will have different opinions. This appointment is huge for the club, I think this league will be the toughest it has been in years. Plenty of teams losing one week and winning the next it is that tight so we have to get it spot on. No margin for error whatsoever. Like you, I'll support whoever the chairman opts for, that goes without saying. I think questioning McLeish's style of football is a valid point given what we are trying to achieve and what we would like to see on the pitch. Sorry I can't highlight but I was wondering why you think it's gonna be such a tough league this year? Norwich have a strong squad admittedly as do Cardiff but they were hardly that great agaisnt us recently. Workmanlike I'd say. I thought Blackburn outplayed them for the most part. Fulham have started very poorly. The promoted teams? Rotherham and brentford likely to be in the bottom 10 teams. Wolves may do a bit better given their budget & experienced manager I suppose. Likes of derby, Wigan likely to be strong then Brighton, forest, Ipswich, boro top half. Nothing to say we can't take points of them again this year tho. Brum, leeds, wendies are all under funded with similar or weaker squads than last year.Millwall and bourney seem stronger but not formidable. We have made 2 key signings: AM & DM & likely a CB to come. Yes the next appointment is crucial but with a bit of team spirit & organisation I think we can have a very competitve season and have nothing to fear.

Plus two relegations. 3 league title wins? Two at Rangers - did Birmingham win the league when they got promoted? No, Birmingham were runners up, so they didn't win the league, me and you both know you knew that. You were just trying to be a smart arse. I really don't want to be a pedantic or a condescending prick Yoy, but if you look deep enough you will find he won a league title with Hibernian. Maybe you have selective reading... I'll put it down to human error though I didn't know - I remembered they'd gone up automatically but didn't know whether it was first or second. It was a simple question. Slight over reaction on your part I'd suggest.
