I remember Headey used to sit in the directors box .. think he was chairman for a while .. didn't he own a basketware company in the colne valley ? Her wikipedia page (I know I know) says her dad was a policeman. I don't think it's the same fella?? Wouldn't be first time I was wrong .. Scrap that

Surely Waterworld is the worst film ever Sent from my SM-G900F using proboards No that accolade belongs to Battlefield Earth starring John Travolta I take it from these posts that people on here have never witnessed Grease 2 or Jaws 3D or Jaws The Revenge..? Saturday Night Fever 2(aka Staying Alive) was saved by skimpy clothed dancers.. For films that cost absolute fortunes to make and produced nothing but celluloid and nausea Heavens Gate and Legends of The Fall are hard to beat, if you are not in possession of a big stick.

btw, I forgot Far, Far Away.. starring the 'height challenged hearthrob' Tom Cruise, who also 'starred in Magnolia , another criminal waste of 2 hours of your life. Both of which the critics described as 'a right pile of old shit, where Tom merely takes the money and the piss in equal amounts'.. (I may be quoting Mark Kermode slightly incorrectly there)..

I could easily have overlooked 30 year old high school students otherwise.. BTW being a 'film buff' does not mean watching them in the nude, this having been pointed out to me by a rather friendly Magistrate and a barrister for the 'Odeon Cinema Group'..

I 'liked' that because you mentioned Arthur English. And you knew he supported Aldershot. Much respect. Kudos from me too for dredging up English ( who died 21 years ago ) from the recesses of the mind ... I'm querying it though as there is no mention of it on his Wikipedia page .. So can it be true ? . Maybe Epsom has some inside info on the great man ? Maybe he bumped into him at Rumbelows and after initial chit chat about his ( English's not Epsoms) role as Slugger on Follyfoot the conversation turned quickly to football and those epic Shots/Terriers fourth division encounters of the mid seventies Edit I apologise ive just read further down wiki page "He had been president of Aldershot Town F.C.[13][14] which had been formed out of the ashes of Aldershot F.C. The new club badge depicted a rising phoenix and was designed by English." He designed the club badge !!!!!!!! And , at 58 years old after his missus dies he married a 22 year old dancer And he was in Crown Court , and the worst film of all time ( cannon and ball's "boys in blue ") Arthur English WHAT A GUY Epsomterrier we salute you Was he also in Are You Being Served ? Jasper Carrot is a Brummie Noddy Holder I think is Wolves.

I'm going to get panned here but I wonder how many people have jumped on the Waterworld press bandwagon without actually watching it ? Yes it had a massive budget but I didn't think it was that bad. Seen far far worse.
Re Jaws, the second was pushing it but just about got away with it. Just. Owt after that needed fucking with a wire brush.

Not really, anyone is better than supporting Bradford. Edmondson and his wife Jennifer Saunders have lived for years in Chagford on the east side of Dartmoor. Nice village with a great mobile fish and chips van! We once looked at buying a cottage there. That makes French and Saunders a West Country opus, then. Dawn French has spent much time extolling the virtues of Cornwall.

Surely the worst ever film has to be 'Plan 9 from Outer Space' by the genius that was Ed Wood Jr.? It is so bad it is actually hilarious... full of continuity errors (at one point it unintentionally switches from day to night in the space of one frame), a ridiculous plot populated with wooden actors and hilarious special effects such as flying saucers that are obviously paper plates. There is even a role in there for Bela Lugosi (his final film) but his 'character' is totally superfluous to the plot and was only included by Wood so that he could market it as a Bela Lugosi film. Lugosi actually died part way through filming anyway but that didn't deter Wood. Instead of re-casting and re-filming he simply used a stand-in who spent the rest of the story with a cloak draped across his face to disguise the fact that he wasn't actually Lugosi. A 'must-watch'.

Apparently the following all support Aston Villa.
Forest Gump, Captain Richard Phillips, Walt Disney, Woody (from Toy Story), Thomas Schell, Larry Crowne, Professor Robert Langdon, Viktor Navorski, Joe Fox, Captain John Miller, Jim Lovell (Astronaut), James B Donovan (Lawyer),.......... .............. oh yes and Tom Hanks.
But they still got relegated even with this famous fan base

Wrong I'm afraid, it's Rod not Rob, and despite being from Hudds he isn't a Town fan. Yes, their b-side 'Sheriff of Huddersfield' is about Smallwood. And borrowed as a user name on here Edit, just checked back and someone has already pointed this out - duh... Yeah I know that was me.

That tw*t who referred our game against Charlton last season. think he might just have been a Charlton fan.
I think Elvis Constello is a Tranmere fan and Paul Heaton from the Housemartins supports Hull.

Adam Richman (Man v Food) is a Spurs supporter I believe, and Sly Stallone said he developed an affinity for Everton whilst filming scenes at Goodison for 'Creed' (which is a good film)

I believe Rod Smallwood (as a kid a couple of years older than me) lived a few doors down from us when I was small, at the same time as David Liddiment (head of entertainment at the bbc among other things) was further down the road, so who would have thought Stanley Road in Lindley would have played such a significant part in our culture. I never amounted to much myself. I did email DL when I did some contract IT work at the Beeb in 94 as we had played together as kids, but he was politely uninterested, and definitely not into footy.

I think it's probably in that weird, slightly vague "so bad it's good" category. I can't decide whether Manos: Hands of Fate is in that category, or just the worst film ever made.

Sit those two beside each other and the committing of some sort of atrocity actual becomes worth considering.
