Yeah Yeah we get the message. You're great. Pfft Remind us again what your full-time job is? What has my full-time job got to do with anything? Anyway since you asked, I'm a golf journaist/reporter earning well above the national average. How about yourself? I think the guy was making a point that you're not a coach or scout, not wanting a dick measuring contest ;D

Think we hammered you a few times Preston ;-) To be fair, the team we had was awesome at the time. In the 5 seasons I played - as the goalkeeper before breaking my elbow - we only three games in total. One was against Brighouse in the cup final, another against clifton in a cup semi and a bizarre one against Honley. But no, Cameron wasn't great and I used to laugh at him and his dad when they'd give it all this and that about where he was going. Fair play to the lad for what he's done though - he always said he would. that said, I still don't think he's all that. A lad in our Liversedge side at the time - Paul Walker. You may remember him running rings round everyone - is still a better player but for whatever reason he loses his bottle at the many trials he has. theres your answer at the bottom luke :nodding: .is it the paul walker who was at alfreton or somebody in that area?

Fitzy i dont think he has played for Alfreton, he has played for Liversedge, Buxton and Garforth. Terrierluke yes paul walker is a class player the reasin he is still playing at Garforth and not in the FL is that he only wants to play with his mates and he didnt get offered a contract when he had a trial at town he just left. The liversedge team that you played in was very good as i have played with alot of the players that you played with at fishers as well, to be honest one of the other players from that team that should be playing at a higher level is Anthony Doran as well!

Why can't I call him useless? It is a forum of 'opinions' so many keep saying. Thing is, i can comment on his ability first hand as I've played against him on three or four occasions. The lad will NEVER cut it as a professional footballer. )))))))))))

I could write on a pin head what Luke knows about football. Just read through all this and if ever a person made himself look a bigger prick i would love to meet them.

A corker of a thread. He'll still try to argue he's not very good

LC said he wasn't good enough otherwise we would have signed Vardy.

Just watched Vardy score number 10 at St James Park today. Newcastle were shit and couldn't handle Leicester's high energy, hard pressing game. I'd like to think DW can bring that game to Huddersfield. He'll need three months to get them fit for it.

When Lineker asked him what the reason was for the late resurgence in his career, half expected him to say that fewer nights out around Halifax doing Class A drugs has benefited him hugely

Seriously though how good must Paul Walker and Richard Marshall be.
I honestly think the earlier statements in this thread are worse than the you don't win anything with kids statements

As a halifax season ticket holder im devastated hes gone.wanted him to come to hudds if he had to go so we could come and watch occasionally.followed the threads on here with interest and there was lots of bollox spouted. you'll regret not buying him in years to come.hes better than mickall-smith was when he left conference.to the guy on here who thinks richard marshall is better--then id stick to playing pal as you'll never make a coach. Told ya..

It emerged last night that Lee Clark went to watch him while he was at Halifax. Although LC thought he was a good player, he also thought he had a bad attitude.
One that LC missed out on.

Very funny to read this thread, goes to show there are always keyboard warriors who claim inside knowledge or to know better than others but mostly they are talking bollocks
