Working in Sadford, I'd quite like the cocky history one as a t-shirt. It'd be fun to wear when visiting the outlaws too Sent from my GT-I9505 using proboards

Someone bought this in a fundraiser a couple of years ago.....maybe they'd donate it? Last I heard they were trying to sell it and get their money back!

True, I was thinking either over the FMU barrier? or on the wall behind the FML? You'd have to bear in mind sponsor/advertising boards- we wouldn't be able to cover any of these up, and considering they're all over the place we'd probably have a job on draping it over anything. Best bet would be over the seats I think. Take my flag to all away games but had big problems with the QPR stewards last Saturday not allowed to hang flag from upper tear

I'd take it more as a compliment rather than someone stealing your work....seeing your logo adorned on a giant flag in the ground, couldn't imagine a better compliment. Like you said though it's only a concept to get the ball rolling and it was never going to be used cos it's not mine, would be great if you could contribute some flag designs though. Yeah I'd be happy for it to be used if the person I did it for is also happy for that (Guess it could work as free advertising ) I'd just appreciate being used in its original format if it is though. I'd love to contribute some designs in the future though, I do like the idea if you can pass it with the club. Agree with or lovely logo designers sentiments. However, we'd love a bit of free publicity.

Although Dean Hoyle is encouraging us to bring flags we are forbidden to do so by the safety officer.I have read the stadium rules and have emailed a request today and receive a prompt reply. Bellow are both. How do Middlesbrough ,Man U, palace, Liverpool and other clubs get away with displaying banners and Liverpool ' s case flags? Have we got different rules at our stadium? EMAIL. I am intending to bring a banner to place over empty seats in the fm lowertomorrow. It says htfc on it and measure 6×1 metres . It is a few years old and was last used at Old Trafford for the play final. It has no fire certificate because it's homemade. It would be taped securely to the empty seats and I do not intend to move it before or during the game REPLYThank you for your email
Unfortunately due to the size of your flag, it would require a fire certificate for us to permit it to be displayed in the seating area, therefore, it cannot be brought into the Stadium for tomorrow’s game.
I understand that the policy regarding bringing flags and banners into the Stadium is available on Huddersfield Town’s web site.

Yes I know, BUT it probably wouldn't get shown on TV during normal camera angles anyway, whereas if we were on live with different camera angles etc, the unusual position of it MAY prove to be attractive to the pitchside camera or alternatively the one behind the goal. If it was hanging off the floodlights pylon, it would be too remote. Hanging off the DG upper would be the best option, but still probably wouldn't be shown on camera.

Great idea, but definitely one that's worth taking the time to get right. The club, KSDL & the safety goons would all have to be involved and be able to agree with whatever the fans decide they want to go for. I'd definitely chip in tho'.

Is this something people would be interested in? A lot of the brilliant Man Utd flags down the years have been done by a group called Stretford End Flags, using crowdfunding and then planning designs. There's no reason why we couldn't do the same. It's seems like a cost-effective way of getting some brilliant flags/banners down at the ground and away from home. United bannersUnited player tribute bannersUnited surfersI've been looking at this site and they seem to do some good-sized flags for a reasonable price, they've got the fire certification stuff as well: Footballflags.co.ukIf people were interested we could do a suggested donation of say £10 per person and then hopefully we could raise the finds to get a sizeable flag to take home and away. I've quickly done a couple of flag ideas to give an idea. Just a note, I took the idea for the Thrice logo from this: Not trying to steal it just thought it would look good on a flag so redrew it. The image of Hoyle is a vector and it could be applied to quite a lot of Town photos that perhaps aren't good quality but that we'd like to see blown up on flags. Let me know what your thoughts are about this. I'd definitely be up for chipping in.......Put me down last for washing 'em tho'

Just remember that we don't have the stand full-time YET. Fully behind the flags in general but bear in mind that we aren't all sat together every week YET. So don't get the monk on if the flag you part-paid for lives in another stand temporarily! I'm sure we are all grown ups right? PS - Looking forward to Saturday!!! UTT!! Always feel pi***d off when large away followings bring big flags. We would all be together in a big away end somewhere. Would look great passing a big flag end to end.
