I thought you were Paignton Devon terrier ? As for Patrick Stewart no way !!! If you want a loyal thespian town fan look no further than this board ( not that I'm saying he should have a flag , e4steviesmith would deface it )

Sadly you will not be allowed into a ground with a flag unless it is of a certain size same of what we saw at Wembley . I have never seen a street flag seller offering fire certs and it might be a good idea to do one with Sir Patrick Stewart -- RISE SIR PATRICK OR RISE SIR DEAN MIRFIELD TERRIER MIRFIELD TERRIER All football flag making company's that I've seen in this country provide fire safety certificates.

- 'Arise Sir Dean' is very good, I have a fairly solid cringe alarm and it hasn't gone off for this one. Even though it would definitely look like "Arse..." ??

I agree with a crowd flag. How about a P CLARKE flag (esp if he is leaving)?

We must get this flag sorted but it has to be something historic on it and not dedicated to a player that is leaving, that would be a waste of money. We fans are the only ones 100% HTFC for life . It's got to be timeless. Think of the unique words that are associated with our great club and use them ie. Thrice, fa cup, historic, 3 stars, cowshed, Chapman, Hoyle, Town, Yorkshire , Blue And white stripes and They used to call us sleeping giants but it's more like a coma

He wants around 350 quid for it, a group of them paid 750 quid at auction. If we are interested in buying it we can set up a crowd funder and see if we can get it?

The flag you are on about was designed and produced by me and was auctioned off at a fund raiser in 2010 for the KIU campaign. The flag is unique and cost 1500 quid to make (it's also bloody huge 25ft x 8) and was sponsors by Chadwick Lawrence solicitors - meaning all the proceeds went to KIU. The material has been certified as fire retardant and was allowed into the stadium at the game preceding the fundraiser. It's an amazing piece and to be fair would look fantastic in the stadium. I would gladly buy back the flag from Dave for 350 and donate it to the club, assuming it could be given a permanent home! Maybe a good time to raise the issue would be the next HW supporters meeting at Millbridge club on the 25th. Ann,Ross & Sean are all there than night - and a little bird tells me than the man himself may even make an appearance.

Me and shezza were looking for a flag to purchase but we don't have 350 quid to spend. I have asked a few mates what they think of organising some crowd funding and we are looking into it. I have mentioned it on here but it fell on deaf ears. That flag is too good to be under somebody's bed, it should be taking pride in the stands home an away. What ever can be done to get the flag and others in our stadium and on away trips should be done.

Like I say, best option is to get to the next millbridge meeting and bring it up. I'm pretty immobile at the minute as I've just come out of hospital after an op, so am 50/50 to make it myself. But take my word for it, if you can persuade the powers that be to give it a home, I'll buy it from Dave. Maybe Dave can bring it down to Millbridge on the night and put it up on the stage? That's if you can get Scoffa's flag off the wall for 5 mins! Let me know if there's owt I can do. Utt

You need to get the club / stadium to approve entry / display before you do anything...

Whatever happemed to that huge flag that smelled of chip shop curry sauce?
It surfed the Millenium Stadium play off, and I vaguely remember it surfing across the Kilner Bank at least once if not twice since then, plus a couple of away games.

Bureaucracy, health and safety, people with degrees in clip board management and Mr Robinson probably all contributed to banning it.... Of course incase somebody suffocated or choked on it or something similar.
