Hurray, a sensible poster! Watch it though you might get called names by gormless posters on here! Haha e4 and marcusd.. marriage made in heaven Hey ups Ted. As soon as that substitution got made today I thought fuck me! Why did he not bring Elvis on for Lolley and keep the momentum? Shit management decision not unfamiliar to Powell if you ask me!

Its simply bizarre. The circumstances of Wagners effect reminds me of the film "Awakenings". The team is catatonic but responds to treatment/coaching and "awakens" before its found to be a temporary improvement and they return to an earlier state. If we dont shake off this malaise we could still go down. Powell did not tinker at all...Wagner too much.

I haven't seen us have a solid and confident defence in a LONG time. When your defence is that leaky it really is an uneven playing field. I don't normally bang the investment drum but we really are paying the price for underinvesting here. I think the last time we paid money for a defender was Murray Wallace.Who we have bizarrely sold, when we're already short in his position.
Maybe Wallace coming on instead of Boyle today would have brought a different result? Not really fair on Boyle though to make a first team debut like that.
What !!! Wallace shouldn't have been sold the lad was shit so that means if husband played against Leeds we would not have lost cos Wallace wasn't playing

On the other hand, we also conceded two and lost the match after new boys Matmour, Manu and Boyle came on for regulars Patterson, Lolley and Bunn. Hurray, a sensible poster! Watch it though you might get called names by gormless posters on here! Don't worry, I'm well used to it.

Shit result against a very poor team. Wagner's substitution of Matt Moore for Lolley allowed PNE to gain the impetus for the last half hour, very much in the Chris Powell mould! Another 3 points down the drain due purely to very poor management. Singling out Matmour being part of the reason for our defeat today is poor even by your standards. I can only assume you were there today. I was recovering after an enjoyable evening with Micky Buxtons boys. You have slightly misunderstood my post. I wasn't singling out Matt Moore but I would have rather seen Elvis who is more of a direct goal scoring threat to Matt Moore who incidentally didn't appear to enjoy himself too much again today.

Wallace bizarrely sold ? .. I think a better use of the word would be " you're bizarrely still here " You'd have preferred Boyle on than Wallace today? I wouldn't.
I don't remember Wallace being as bad as some make out. I saw him as good backup, who we sold to save on the wage bill.

I stand by what I said. I do support my team but it doesn't stop me realising that our defence is inadequate and our next run of games is as tough as it gets. Climb off your high horse you fucking tit So you decide we all need to move on .. then one match later you decide we actually shouldn't .. you've done it a million times .. let people make their own minds up about who's the tit I have my own opinion but will keep it to myself Move on from the fact we bought no one in January in retort to someone who starts threads claiming the chairman is having our pants down. We need to sort our defence out, today was a game we should not have lost. Your habit of trawling through old threads to find quotes to use makes you a tit aswell as a sad bastard.

1) Wallace as nowhere near good enough, nothing bizarre about moving him on. 2) There is no possible way of knowing if Wallace would have shanked a clearance (anyone who saw him play knows he had it in him), so what's the point in widely speculating. 3) It wasn't Boyle's debut. As well an informed a post as ever. I didn't know that.
How much first team game time has he got under his belt then?

Forest up next who are unbeaten in last 13 games Funny thing is teams in a bad run tend to win those kind of games as the opposition ease off a bit

Our inability to sign either a striker or a centre back will inevitably hurt us, as we are obviously short in both areas.
Hopefully we'll get a couple of loans in, but if you put Davidson back in the mix once Husbands goes back and fail to strengthen then we're going to continue to struggle.

we lack quality. wagner is doing a great job with the players he has, but we need players in important positions such as defence and attack. by attack i mean strikers not wingers.
