Lynch at fault for both those goals. First one going nowhere near until swung his wrong foot and outjumped for second. I'd challenge you to do better with that OG... What d'you want him to do, let it go past him?? Coming at pace from 5 yds and you want him to sort his footwork out. Fine margins, a little squarer on his shin and they'd have just had another corner... 7 yards out at least but that's irrelevant. If that had fallen on his left foot there's now way he'd have scored. He's a one footed central defender and that's what caused him to miscue.

At least your cat doesn't hate you eh? How do you know? You've never met him, and you never will because he never ventures further south than London, and you....wellI I think we know the rest, don't we? But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt so go on then.... how many times have you seen Murray Wallace play to help you have your "informed" opinion of him?

Who you calling a clever dick? Historical fixtures don't mean a thing.. Are you implying some divine force has prevented us winning since '69? Losing today has nothing to do with any previous fixture we've played at Deepdale.. What part is difficult for you to understand? Lol, it has massive bearing on games. Im calling you it. Shows we are unlucky and very niaive in games. No, it really doesn't.. But you just keep making yourself look stupid fella.

I take my hat off to your astounding debating skills. I can only assume then that you've never seen him play then?

How many times have you seen Wallace then?
Are we including TV coverage? Opinions of others? Radio commentary? Or can an opinion only be made if you've seen a player in the flesh several times?
We'd better let 80% of Premiership fans know about this glaring error, being pointed out by smelly cat woman.

Yes I think you can only really comment on a players ability if you've seen him play a few times be that live or a "full" tv match

Is this what "Human Nature" is... picking on one another when things aren't going well? Just so you can vent your anger/one-upmanship? If so, I vote Markus(Claptrap)/Ted for the next Prime Minister! Yes, we are heading in the right direction. No, we are not there yet, but we will be. And for all you who keep banging on about what we should have done (last transfer window and the one before that etc.)that's gone - live with it! So, instead, tell me how you as a Manger/Coach are going to get the players to perform for the next game? Is it by telling them our CB's and Strikers are no good and we will be replacing you all in the next window? That's really going to get the Team pumping, isn't it? Same with the fans, keep grinding them down/demoralising them (on here) and what's going to happen? Have debate and dissect our performance, but come up with a rational/positive solution, rather than saying "so & so is shit". It might surprise you who might take notice! We are all TOWN, otherwise why would we waste our time wading through all the shite on here, just to find out about the team we love. Let's do this together. UTT TTID

we drop too deep, too quickly and we stay there for longer than we have to.. we have been doing this now for a long time.. it does not work, our goals against column for the last few seasons is proof of this.. we did it twice yesterday and not only we do drop deep but we ball watch..
whoever sorts this out will have an easier job..
forget pressing and triangles and this new style until we can get this sorted...
there isnt an argument for it, we do it and we concede, so lets try very hard not to do it and see how we go...
I can live with missing chances and sometimes being caught on the break, its tough to watch goals being poked in or deflected in,or easier headers or tap ins because we are holding hands with steer and not actually marking up anyway..
tell me i know nothing about football and its easy to make comments etc etc.. we all move on and make exactly the same errors with the same costs next week..

I think that's what's know colloquially as "scraping the barrel". But go on then......how many times have you seen Murray Wallace play (including TV)? That might help you to increase the total enough to count it on one finger.

I can't say that you are wrong. However, its a common fault of many goals scored by many teams at all levels. Which teams defending should we emulate?

Cat piss on a stick, all this because I said I thought Wallace wasn't as bad as some on here make him out to be? Get a life outside, away from your cat.

One win in a year against a top half team...pathetic. In my entire life i wonder how many times we have come from behind to win with 10 minutes left....4 or 5 perhaps. Feels like it happens to us 5 times a season. Dreadful. Last time I recall anyone scoring late and losing was Middlesbrough in the fog three years ago. We scored twice to win very late on at Stockport and at home to Brentford, Scunthorpe (all 3-2) and Stockport (5-3). There's five off the top of my head. It's fairly rare that the team scoring first loses, although it's happened three times to DW already. I can't remember it happening at all to CP. There must be more recent examples,(although losing like yesterday hurts so much that they are usually hard to forget), but we lost 3-2 at Sunderland in 1996 with ten men to two late goals. We used to specialise in losing two-goal leads, of course, but somehow not losing.

Don't know why you are getting so hot under the collar, it was a simple enough question. You go to one game a season and you can't remember how many times you've seen Murray Wallace play? I even let you count TV highlights, but that didn't help. So as you seem to be too coy to answer, I'll have a guess....er....never live and maybe 10 minutes of highlights total. Yet this entitles you to inform us that he was only sold purely to get him off the wage bill, nothing to do with a lack of footballing ability. Doesn't 60 appearances in 4 years under at least 4 different managers tell you something? 15 games a year including sub appearances? Makes sick-note JV look like a regular starter. But no, you know better, with your 10 minutes of highlights scouting. Better than all the managers who he worked and trained under week in week out. Better than Wagner who saw no future for him here. But,but,but....the truth of the matter doesn't fit in with your "let's-trash-everything-HTFC" agenda does it, so we'll just peddle the same old crap on thread after thread. That's what this is all about. And as long as you keep spouting bollocks, I'm afraid I'll have keep putting you straight. Best regards.

IM SORRY FRANKIESLEFT PEGG but it woudnt have made a bit off difference which foot it came to it was so near just unlucky it deflected in to the net.Th seccond goal was caused by letting browne run in to the box unmarked . yes he outjumped our central defenders but he was not tracked in the first place and that was made perfectly clear in the post match inquest.on another point where everyone is entitled to there views i really do wonder about Doug thompson in the examiner because his knowledge of the game is in my view is has poor as Paul clarks was years ago. At least Mel Booth played the game and understood it.

he got a header from 6 yards in open play..the idea is to defend sometime before that happens..
