I'd like to congratulate Leeds on their promotion to the Prem as champions with 100+ points and 100+ goals. Anyone know when the open top bus parade will be?

Great start in all fairness......although Ince nearly just drew Stoke level with a cracking shot.

Big wake up call for Stoke. They look very average. Afobe not looking particularly interested up front.

Going on last season when they won the league in September, I would imagine any time soon. Then they have the end of season party with bonfire / firework display .

Well that didn’t go to plan......
Looked exactly like we did last year only against poorer opposition
Oh well 😔

Leeds.... first game for the new manager, sizeable crowd, looked ok, they might be pushing for the playoffs nothing more IMO.

I’m not sure about Rowett for Stoke. He’s become a bit of a dour, negative manager in difficult seasons with mediocre squads. Now he’s got one of the strongest squads he needs to deliver. Didn’t look very good at all today.

Big wake up call for Stoke. They look very average. Afobe not looking particularly interested up front. And did you see the way he ambled off when he was substituted at 3-1 down. Took about 2 minutes for him to leave the field. If I'd been a Stoke fan I'd be going bonkers.

A new manager, a lot of new players in a relegated side and you would expect Leeds to be up for it. They obviously have some work to do.
Afobe is probably unhappy with being pushed back down to the Championship just as the side he is contracted to get promoted. Not sure he will be a great signing for them. Given his potential as a young man he really has not developed into the player I thought he would do.

That Leeds manager certainly has a good command of English. Training sessions must be a right barrel of laughs!

Leeds fans will be planning the fucking parade bus route as we speak. Funny as the first comment on the BBC match report claims we are bitter... About what? Not playing in the Championship and living off a few million as opposed to near a hundred? And they say they don't care about us.

Didn’t look very good at all today. Joe, Leeds were by far the better side against for me the Champions elect. Or they should be as their squad is embarrassingly strong for that level. A Premier League Team playing Championship football. Was having a pint with a Mate of mine who went. Understandably he was pleased and a bit shocked by how good Leeds were but not counting any chickens whatsoever. Long way to go. Apart from hitting the bar, Ince was pretty much non-existent which is surprising as I thought he would immediately make an impact. I would have Saiz here.

Leeds fans will no doubt enjoy the moment, but they tend to start well and then fade. This season will be no different. I don't think they are good enough to mount a serious challenge

Yes of course!. The brand of football from Stoke was dire. Not sure about Rowett, seems to be living off reputation based on what he did at Birmingham. I wouldn't have him anywhere near us.

Let’s see what happens to both it’s a long hard season another 80 Points needed and the fixtures fatigue and injuries will bite at some point which is where the size and quality of the squad will count. Ref Leeds specifically they will get found out a bit on plan and it’s how they respond from there. If either side ‘do it’ it will be based on merit that’s for sure.
Ref town being bitter in some way already the nonsense from some Leeds fans has started. Masdive club going to walk it etc this might be your year but in all probability you’ll have a few good results then lose faith at the first sign of difficulty and sack him by Christmas instead of seeing it through because that’s what Leeds always do.

I'd be worried if I was a Stoke fan after that! I rate Rowett as a manager but he's only really performed with a small budget, totally different kettle of fish managing with a bigger budget and better players and being expected to play decent football and challenge at the top. For the 20 mins I watched it Stoke looked clueless, for an ex prem team that have also just spent a load of cash L**ds made them look absolutely shyte. Early days of course but as a Stoke fan you'd be wondering what they'd been doing all summer.
