will he go to his party at speed, then stop, go round in circles before heading off in the wrong direction and then forget what he had gone out to do???  Yeah and falling over and rolling round even though no one else is anywhere near him. |

sobhi makes him look like Pele. imo ! I hope VLP gets a new chance under Siewert next season, because he Could thrive under a more attacking style. I for one hope he can prove a few wrong on here, yes he can be frustrating at times, but he clearly gets the team up the pitch unlike a few other last season. |

If we play up the other end we don't need to get up field and we played more in the opposition half last season without him. |

Although I’d love to hear what you are basing your prediction on.... Probably basing it on the fact he was a huge part of the promotion season and the one that kept us in the Premier League. I do like watching RVP and am a fan of his but he's very frustrating. The fact that a Rabona cross which goes straight to the goalie is on his show real sums it up. Maybe his team were 3 or 4 up at the time but I somehow doubt it. Having said that I have seen him work very hard for the team. Lets hope Jan can succeed where others have failed and he can get an end product out of him. |

Sent from my SM-G920F using proboards Well I suppose if I'm looking for positives he should be fit and raring to go only having played 159 minutes of first team football since last October. if he does stay I hope he does well, likewise with Mounie, Diakhaby, Mbenza and the rest. However, I don't hold out a lot of hope that at his age he will suddenly learn how to cross, how to shoot and when to play in a team mate. I might be old-fashioned but I prefer my wingers to be able to do more than just "get us up the field". Anyway, I guess we'll see come August, one way or the other. |

VLP is not rated by many and I agree he can be frustrating but he’s our best winger by a mile and has an incredible work rate. Wagner improved his defensive work admirably, Now I’d like to see him used in a more forward positive role. He’s head and shoulders above our other wingers . |

Fans come on a forum and act as if that represents the full fanbase, so it wouldn't be that surprising to find players mega pissed off when they read the sort of stuff there is on this thread.
