If a fan site affects your life too much you are in the wrong job.
Do your talking on the pitch and boost your career.
If he never gets involved in daft internet arguments then really anything said on here is not personal. Just opinions but everyone had one of those long before computers. Had he played in the days before larger noisier crowds he would have heard plenty of them 'live'.

Pair him up with Diakhaby & Mbenza. They'd make a triad or trio, but definitely not a pair.

Seeing that post and VLP's previous social media form, he aint gonna be here to have chance. What forms that? I’ve followed him for a couple of years and never noticed anything untoward. I don't myself but I've seen others post his subliminal type messages around the time he was sent on loan to Boro and when he was sent back too.

The player with the most flair in our squad. Really hoping that Siewert plays him regularly, I’ve a feeling he’s going to be brilliant this season. Like a new signing to me .

For me VLP adds an element of comedy we were lacking last season. I'm hoping now we're back in the championship there'll be more laughs, balls in the kilner, keepers messing up, goals off arses, Colin Quaner, refs falling over.

When we were promoted i said in a couple of threads that only Mooy, Schindler and maybe VLP were good enough for the Prem. I stand by that and think i have been proved right. I also get frustrated by him, mostly because of too many touches...but i have no doubt about his ability.

I get the feeling Raj and Pritchard are playing for the same place. Shame really. Wouldn’t be too sad to see Pritchard leave.

A couple of step overs against a right back who’s probably got a part time job at Sports Direct midweek is hardly proving anybody right. Good finish tonight, lots of talent but will he be arsed against a decent side? Hopefully.

Can't argue with his exceptional strike tonight. Equally can't argue that with 9 goals in 5 years (and less assists) he's not the answer to anything.
In his career, over a long time, he has scored less goals than Collin Quaner !!!

The lad does make an effort but will never make a good team player for a forward he lacks any value in the last third where he should be doing the damage. Most of his games will be 6 out of 10 at best.

Spot on - every team's had them haven't they - someone who on their day (which are very very rare) are magical but overall never really contribute that much over their club careers.

If JS has got VLP motivated and in a positive mindset then fairplay to both of them. Perhaps we have turned a corner as a team and something special is brewing again. Still expect Mooy and Kongolo to leave before deadline day but i can now see we can live with that.

So glad he is back though he is pure class. He is very happy too. I know he’s frustrating at times. But in these days of predictable possession football it’s nice sometimes as a supporter to watch a player who has skill and the ability to do something different. His stats quoted do not tell the whole story. If he’s encouraged to be positive rather than retain the ball at all costs we will see some exciting displays from him this season.

Wake up he doesn't have the tools to do this no bleeding movement Mooy always had to look backwards can't cross a ball passing not good enough along with shooting the guy belongs in the third tear at best.

He is a bit like the Morecambe & Wise sketch about piano playing. He has all the right notes just not in the right order. He has all the skill required of a good winger but he makes the wrong choices. Went to Middlesborough and hardly played. Unless he really sorts his game out, which I doubt given how long he has had to do it, he will be a bench warmer at best. Damn shame for a player with his talent.

Motivation isn't the issue with VLP. It is getting him to engage his brain for 90 minutes that is the problem. He was the same old VLP last night, does something amazing and then keeps giving it away when trying stupid flicks etc. His use of the overlapping full back was much improved though so hopefully Jan has sorted that bit of his game out
The wide positions are a tough one to call. I'd say the pecking order is currently
Diakhaby Pritchard Mbenza VLP Kachunga Koroma Quaner Rowe
