For anyone thinking we're in the shit because Dean wants his loans back, we are c35m up in transfers over the past 3 windows. The amount we were due to pay Dean over the 3 years is 35m. We also have c90m in parachute payments coming in over 3 years. So where the fuck is that money? Never thought when Schindler scored that penalty at Wembley we would end up in this mess with a owner who literally is taking the piss out of town fans. The sooner he fucks off the better, because as a long term fan (60) years and season ticket holder for (40), he has managed to piss me off in a period of just over twelve months to sake fuck it until he goes.

Fucking Hoyle!!! We are in the shit we are because he has recalled his loans. Its utter claptrap. Last season what was the excuse then when there was no covid. Hoyle is the only person who comes out worse than Hodgkinson Dean Hoyles loans gave Town fans the best times in decades. He's entitled to receive them back in exchange for ownership of the club Blame Phil for buying the club in exchange for the loans if you have beef about that. Dean Hoyle remains a Town legend Is he fuck 😂😂😂😂

Don't know which is worse.... Luton sign Dewsbury from Leicester! Odds on he’ll have COVID.

Give it as the 35M seals the DH repayment I know it doesn't work like that but it's money owed to the club. PP was 45M in first season, loan was 31M still leaves 14M. Add the other 45M due plus player sales just this window which on a Conservative estimate is 26M. Plus last season we had sponsorship, decent SC uptake corporate stuff etc putting cash through the club. Something is definitely wrong. I think it was also stated at the time, the money for canal side (£20 million) was already ring fenced from the tv money when we were in the premier. Now the project has been scaled back, what happened to that spare cash? I get the figures are broad figures and we had to pay taxes and probably pay off some outstanding fees but surely not swallowing up all funds received.

Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems that Maynard's account has disappeared. Brilliant in the past, said we were getting a striker on loan a few weeks back when we signed Eiting and said 3 incoming this week. Deserves the upmost respect for the news he’s delivered on here over the past couple windows but he’s been well wide of the mark it appears Thanks for the back handed compliment. I don't need to justify myself but I said a striker was close, which it was as Grant leaving was close...til WBA backed out. I said I HOPED for 3 in, as everyone within the club was doing, and was still confident last night, honestly don't know what has gone wrong today but obviously plenty...however I believe we will be trying to partially rectify this over the weekend. It seems that my info isn't good enough for some on here, and people are also twisting my words so I'll be keeping my 'wide of the mark' info to myself for now. Cheers

Anyone still in doubt why Cowley was actually sacked? Imagine his interview after today. Danny Sept 2019: "We do an audit of the club, staff, right through everything" Audit findings: "There's no fecking players here"

Should be some good free agents out there? You’d like to think that is the next port of call for a bargain basement signing. But free agents are typically not match fit.

The clubs plan is obviously to survive with as little budget as possible. I think they will have looked at Sheff Wednesday on minus 10 and Wycombe, who look doomed, and thought they will take a chance on there being another team worse than us. It’s all very uninspiring. I think defensively and in midfield we are ok, but we are so weak up front and out wide. If Carlos manages to keep us up he’s done an amazing job. This is 100% on the nose for me. Call me blind but I just cannot accept or believe that PH is asset stripping the club but I do think he is a wealthy local businessman and nothing more which in effect means he’s never going to spend big bucks as he simply doesn’t have it. We’ve had all the stories “explaining” away where the money from the PL days has gone but I’m still mystified why we don’t appear to have a pot to piss in. We all knew what was required this window and there’s been very little by way of delivery. I’d love to know who’s going to score the goals to keep us up this season? Who? Said I’d give it til the end of the window to pass judgement but I am very disappointed and very pissed off this evening.

We’ve struggled to score goals for years
We’ve managed to make our attacking options worse
Credit where it’s due - that takes some doing

So to sum up we have got rid of 1 x GK 3 x RB 1 x CB 1 x CM 3 x Winger 2 x Striker And also saw the following loans end 2 x GK 2 x CM 1 x AM 1 x Winger And we have replaced them with 1 x Gk (loan) 1 x RB 1 x CB 1 x CM (loan) 1 x Striker Plus the return from loan of 1 x Gk 2 x Winger That's 17 out and 8 in in a squad which was already fairly thin whilst pocketing 20m. That could rise if Kongolo goes. I'm struggling to find any words to describe this other than a total joke. I’ll be kind - Shambles

Big Phil seems to have joined the witness protection scheme, Devlin only picks arguments or begs on social media, the communications team seem to be on commission for selling Golden Gamble tickets and Maynard, who is a top poster, threatens to take his bat and ball home because someone points out the detailed prediction he made didn’t come exactly true. We need more robust honesty and less over-sensitivity.

All the decent people on here appreciate the stuff you post. People seem to think signing players is as simple as clicking a button on Football Manager. Yes we are all disappointed, but please don't leave us with our only source of info as the spunktrumpet Townrwe with his 99.2% failure rate and his ramblings about German buses and road closures and diversions.

I feel really sorry for Aarons. The lad must have been really looking forward to playing some football and he now has to sit around for another 11 weeks.

Could Bromby also have been part of the problem. No real experience in what is such a vital role. Then again he’ll have been cheap so probably suits Phil down to the ground.
