Any news on an ETA on the retained list?
I reckon the could shift a few hundred season tickets on the back of a hefty list!

I’m a little surprised and disappointed they didn’t announce it one minute after the reading game as a statement of intent/final fuck you to Pritchard and the likes.
Hopefully everyone will be released except Campbell, Vallejo and Chriclow.

From a couple of posts on the likes of twitter it seems like at least some of the team have been told.

Would think be this week or next.Would imagine players have already been informed,I see some (pipa) have already headed home so would suggest maybe so. There aren’t many on the list I see staying to be honest. Mbenza and bacuna will probably have year options triggered to ensure we get a fee however big or small that may be. I think Campbell will have triggered an automatic year extension through amount of appearances, unless the club could negotiate that out of his contract with him although would suggest probably not. Eiting will go back but wouldn’t be surprised if we looked to loan him again should the option be available and also wouldn’t be surprised if we gave Vallejo another year possibly. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see keogh given another year,I know this will be an unpopular opinion but generally got me he hasn’t been half as bad as what some would make out and between him stearman and elphick would guess his wages be lowest given the relative clubs they all came from when they signed.wouldn’t want him as first team option but fairly steady backup option. Other than that maybe leutwiler as backup keeper and chrichlow then send him out on loan for a year like REG did.

I might be wrong but I think historically we've usually made the announcement on the Monday after the final game, at least when we've not been involved in the play-offs, so I'd expect it today if that's the case.

We have tried getting rid of Mbenza etc for years and failed. If we renew them we have to already have a deal lined up with a club because if we don’t I’m sure we will wait to replace them until they leave and that can take the whole summer as we have seen before. If they are not part of the plans we should just let them go and not bother IMO. We need the time to find and sign a completely new squad. Leutwiler should go as well IMO as he hasn’t even made the bench ahead of poppadom hands

You'd assume it will be announced as soon as possible. The players that are being released will want it public as quickly as possible so potential new employers would be aware they're avaliable
The club only need to say to say they've offer a new contract to X,Y and Z and that the following have been told that their contracts won't be renewed

Leutwiler yes I take your point guess it depends what they decide to do with Schofield,if we have signed a keeper I’d expect that it was a a first choice given Schofield relative struggles. And I don’t think it does him any good to sit on the bench so then a loan seems the most likely. Leutwiler already been in and around the place could help his chances but I agree it doesn’t look ok the face of it good that pereira was named in front of him, suppose their could be other reasons for that though.

That's a hell of a risk to take; they'll be on top whack wages - we can't reduce them if we trigger the extension - and we surely can't take the risk of continuing to pay that in the HOPE that they might get transferred for a fee. Bacca I would predict would almost certainly get a move for a fee; Mbenza on the other hand...

It’s in everybody’s interests to do it ASAP.
Personally, I think we should symbolically blast Pritchard out of a cannon from Castle Hill.

That’s if we don’t pay the entire fee to HMRC in some kind of tax...
