It’s very early days, but I have a feeling Fothers may be with us a long time, even if we drop to Division 3...or perhaps he'll get us promoted.
Regardless, we’ve likely got no funds for another manager or players. Whether he keeps us in the Championship or we drop, I can’t see the owner digging into his pockets again.

The problem with the poll being that people vote as to what they would like to see happen, rather than what is the most likely outcome.

My worry is that Narcis walks before he does Who clearly knew one of the main faults at Town has been defending, ok Cardiff were no world beaters but Chicho installed some basic no nonsense defending to achieve a clean sheet & a WIN ......take note MF.

Isn't Chicho the defensive and set plays coach? 🤔 He is I think but he can only decide on so much; he has to train the squad in the way MF wants them to defend. Set pieces he will have more input I’d imagine?

Which is exactly the type of performance you need when you're fighting at the bottom.

DW was the peoples choice and probably DH's too. We should have stuck with Checho given the alternative. Today's line up and substitutions were at best nieve, and it showed I’m as disappointed as the next man with todays performance, but other than starting Russel instead of Camara (something that no one would have had an issue with last season) what was wrong with the line up? Not playing Hoggy

I think I he’ll be here at least until the end of the season but will only be kept if he keeps us up. I would have preferred Chico to have had a few more games as at least the Cardiff game had some positivity about it.

I fully embrace this is a forum and needs all different points of view and also the right to post what you like. There has to be some sort of limit though surely!
One game and a few days in and a post about essentially how long before he gets sacked. I would say unbelievable but sadly its kinda normal behaviour from some

It’s things like this that remind me that this site covers all ages…

Depends how many points we get in the ten games between now and the World Cup break. It would have to be an alarmingly low number, say five points or less, for him to be under threat by then.

If they sack him who will take job? 3 managers since july already!!, dont think he was a top target either. Cant keep sacking managers all time, also he has a 3 year contract to pay off if hes sacked.

Not as disrespectful as this appointment is towards the fans. respectful to the fans? Grow up Do you think replacing a rookie manager with another rookie manager, (bringing no staff with him) after admitting you made a mistake with the last one, whilst sat in the relegation zone is a sensible well thought out appointment and what was needed at this moment in time? Or do you believe it’s another cheap option? Think you need to take the blinkers off and stop telling folk to grow up.

Gone after the Hull City game. We will lose 3 on the bounce with minimal improvement. It will get toxic
It's an appaling appointment for the club.
He was out of work, so was cheap that's his only qualifying feature
The fact he has been given a 3 year contract is tantamount to baffonary only comparable with the decision making of our current prime minister

Don’t think he would go that soon, it would absolutely barmy, but it is a mammoth job for a new head coach in a league he has never worked in with none of his staff.

The problem with the poll is it’s pointless and disrespectful How is it being disrespectful? 3 choices are that he's here for the long term, with one that he's as good a Wagner.
And given our manager turnover in recent years, and shocking perfomance by some of our players yesterday, it's a very fair question for a supporter of 50+ years to ask. Perhaps you should avoid disrespecting me? 🤔
