I listened to Paul Ince post Preston match. He was very frustrated and blamed the players poor decision making and criticised them for not calling each other out. I think he will be sacked today. See above… I think you probably posted as it was breaking.

Is that picture intentional? An empty seat in the dugout? Couldn’t even find a picture of him?

I dunno if this is a good move or not.
Seems abit late in the day to be swapping managers.

I dunno if this is a good move or not. Seems abit late in the day to be swapping managers. desperate measures for desperate times I guess. Maybe Ince was being a bit too dogmatic in his approach and the players were unhappy..we don't know but as it is Reading are going down so they've nothing to lose trying something different.. Probably not good news for teams like Town who despite 5 games unbeaten are still stuck in the middle of a relegation battle, and could quite easily find ourselves back in the bottom 3 soon..

Good that they’ve got Burnley up next then who will need to win to keep ahead of Sheffield United who have Cardiff and who will also have to win to keep ahead of Luton who will also have to win to keep tracks on Sheffield United... Confused Footy. com - Well it the sensational Championship after all ! 😊

Isnt Tom Ince one of their best players? Cant see them sacking his old fella being a positive for him.
Think its a sign of desperation now for Blackpool and reading.. last throw of the dice. Think QPR might have done the same if they'd not got a draw yesterday.

See above… I think you probably posted as it was breaking. Yes, it just popped in as i was typing my thoughts... he wasnt accepting any responsibility himself so I guess it was inevitable. Their fans wanted him out.

I don't like Ince at all, but I can't help feeling that he has become the fall guy for the board's incompetence. It's the club's fault that they were docked six points, not Ince's. Without that deduction they'd be relatively safe and I'm pretty sure that he would still be employed. He's actually unlucky.

I worry about Reading a bit. On the face of it they've got some really decent quality in their side - far more standout players than us, by comparison.
However, clearly hasn't worked for them. Maybe Ince was the problem, time will tell.

Can't say I am expecting much from Reading following Ince's departure. Putting a novice in charge at such a crucial moment for the club doesn't look like a master stroke. How many inexperienced managers have been chewed and spat out of the Championship this season.

As for Reading, hopefully this change of manager changes nothing and they keep losing

If it comes down to the last day shoot out, who would you fancy, Warnock or a rookie ex U21s Manager?

Yesterday was intense enough, could not cope with a last day shootout to stay up between us and Reading.
Would hope we pick up 4 points from Swansea and Sunderland and then we're mathematically safe before the end.

Hoping it will be like our manager bounce, a win to get a buzz and brought back to earth with 2 4-0 drubbings, followed by a draw and then defeat the last day. We got 4 points from NW first 5 games. 4 for them would probably see them down.

I guess we won the first home game but it’s taken a few games to get going Clearly he’s been a successful appointment so far but I’d normally say a bounce was based on a run starting from game 1

Shame golden boy Tom is injured. Would have been fun watching him sulk around the pitch. Incidentally he was claiming that three Premier League teams were after him in January this year. No mention of which Premier League I guess

Less of a bounce, more a steady rebuild and recovery. The danger with the "new manager bounce" is that it doesn't last all that long and the team reverts to type.
