surprised this has not yet been made official as the 6 points seems to be now guaranteed from what I can see online. I don't expect a result for Town this weekend but will have a close eye on Reading, Cardiff, Brum and QPR......whatever we do or don't do we need them all to keep doing badly....!!

Surely has to be more than 6 I don’t think so. Seems they have negotiated it with no room for appeal if it relegates them. Whereas simply deducting say 12 points could open up all sorts of legal stuff. |

Looks messier - and like they've been punished twice for the same offence - than deciding exactly how big a penalty they pay and then implementing once the investigation is completed. |

What next, recreate the VOI massive badged “Wadsworth” shirt from the glory days of administration and relegation to the bottom tier?! |

While a points reduction for Wigan, too, would be a bonus it doesn't really affect us. 3 teams will go down, so in effect those currently below us are irrelevant, we need to catch 4th from bottom, us Blackpool & Wigan must be favourites to go down at this stage.

I suspect a month ago Reading would have been happy to take a 6 points deduction but given recent results including Blackpool result last night they are probably now trying to drag out the punishment till either they are safe or get it deferred till next season!
