Looked really good in the time he was on. Good feet and stronger on the grass than in the air.

Yeah likewise. Made an impact and offers something different!

Couple of nice touches including a vital part in the build up to the goal.
I still think we're stalling his development having him sat on our bench rather than out playing games getting roughed up in league two.

We tried that last season and he apparently wasn't very good for Wimbledon. I think a poster here saw him a few times and thought he didn't look a league player at all. He's better with us and a very useful bench player by the looks of things, that's not the first time he's had a telling contribution

Probably more so as an impact sub right now but did not look out of place tonight, and tbf probably the best feet on the pitch when he first came on 😂

Great option off the bench, credit to DM for rolling the dice there 👍🏻

Like what we see with this lad. Holds it up, lays it off, tracks back, good feet, bit of pace. Paradoxically for his height, not amazing in the air. Could be very good if he develops on.

Yeah, I saw Hudlin twice for AFCW and once for Solihull Moors, all against Sutton. I did say he was better with his feet than in the air but based on what I saw I didn’t think there was any chance of Hudlin making it at Town. Fair play to him though, he’s obviously improving and I’m chuffed for him. Glad Rudoni seems to be starting to deliver! Knew he would.

Blackpool fans already talking about him looking destined for the Premier League after one start. Did you tell Town to have a look?

Superb involvement, what more does he have to do for a start?
Scores goals in pre-season Scored a belter v Newcastle B last week
I don't consider him a "gimmick" striker or just a bean pole to hit long balls up to in the last 10 mins from the (limited) clips I've seen

Warnock (I think) said he was better with the ball at his feet and the best finisher at the club. Dont shoot me down in flames, but I seem to remember his saying that in one of his interviews ?

Said he was good with his feet but Warnock said Rhodes was the best finisher at the Club but he couldnt find a system to play him in. Hudlin did really well when he came on tonight. I think him and Kian are lucky to be at a club that arent willing to sign "championship ready" strikers and they can take advantage of that, no pressure on either of them, all they need to do is be a nuisance as both were when they came on today, both had a hand in a vital equaliser, despite neither putting it in the net. Hudlin's a good option.

Reminds me a bit of Big Coll in that respect, but with a bit more pace and doesn't look quite as ungainly. Not fantastic in the air for his size as you say but he'll give defenders something to think about, especially with Sorba's crosses. If he has half the impact Quaner did, I'll be more than happy.

I think the other thing for Hudlin in the air is that when he comes on if you watch him when he goes to win a header every defender that has played against him thinks because of his height that they aren't going to beat him in the air so they grab and grapple with him so he cant get off the ground.

Possibly, but we need him in the squad right now due to lack of strength in depth. If he can keep getting regular minutes from the bench that will still do him the world of good.

Blackpool fans already talking about him looking destined for the Premier League after one start. Did you tell Town to have a look? Kouassi was getting increasing opportunities with Sutton last season, mostly as a sub, he got the occasional start. It was expected that this season would be his breakthrough season at Sutton but it was a big surprise when he rocked up at Blackpool. I thought he had a lot of potential, but I agreed with the general consensus that this season would see him as a starter at Sutton. He’s very powerful and strong, good on the ground and OK in the air for someone who is only about 5’ 10”. He’d give defenders a hard time, bit of a unit. I read that he’d done well for Blackpool last weekend. He might be a bit of a Novak-type foil for Rhodes. I hadn’t mentioned him to Town, but I did tell them about Rudoni.

I'd like to see him and Harratt together more. I don't think either is capable of playing as a lone striker but their skill sets/play style should mesh with one another.

I still think we're stalling his development having him sat on our bench rather than out playing games getting roughed up in league two. Due to the striker shortage we had, once Rhodes went out we had to keep him. I think he'll get more joy with Moore than he did Neil, he must have already played more game time under Darren. I think Hudlin proved his worth pre-season & I was really frustrated he wasn't getting anything other than the odd couple of minutes in real games. Darren has already shown more faith in him.

For a big lad he has a good touch and awareness holds the ball up and from what I've seen pre season onwards the ball sticks Needs to improve his heading.
