Snide comments about certain supporters aren't a good look either. Don’t see the issue really. Some fans are total clowns towards them so why not give a bit back One specific person mentioned ain't a clown at all, and should not be put in the category of the other people mentioned. It was poor form.

Regarding Radio Leeds, it was completely bizarre that they felt the need to state they couldn’t get an interview. They must get declined interviews every day from busy people. Very strange.

It was poor form. Absolutely. I’m sure he has a thick enough skin but it must be galling to be singled out after putting consistent effort in to Town over at least 8 years. He goes way beyond what normal fans do - it’s unacceptable however they want to spin it as banter. It’s even worse than the bloody Leeds spats on Twitter - Neither of them can possibly understand the dynamics with these particular local rivals but act as if they grew up in the Heavy Woollen district. Thought the video was fine, apart from the above, but a bit thin with AB in limbo, which was pretty much top of the list of questions needing answering (not their fault, like).

I just think it's really poor form, and there's clearly some beef there from an exchange back in August, which was completely misunderstood from Nagle's side.

If you are getting mentioned as negative, you’re probably over the top negative. I take these chats as just that, informative exchanges, in this case 2 old blokes trying to remember the names of those who’ve give them shit on the internet.

Lol I can assure you there is absolutely 100% no beef Why mention him then? Because he’s one of the most visible guys on his ass. I can assure you, and maybe this is a cultural thing, if it wasn’t out of love there would be no mention. Trust me there’s a difference between being a total dick and having a negative slant, constructive or no. If he or anyone else has an issue with that type of banter, there’s an old saying about don’t dish if you can’t take…….and I assure you compared to what he takes, KN’s (or my) “dishing” is a velvet pillow. I’ve adopted pretty much all the culture and ways that I can gobble up, but that’s just so completely strange to me. Me (or KN) can get the total shit kicked out of us on social media or message boards, (which is fine), but God forbid you say even a PEEP back (in good fun on top) and it’s BAD FORM HOW DARE YOU 😂😂 Get outta here

Listened to it while cutting the grass. He’s an amiable guy, enjoyed the conversation and feel he 100% has our best intentions at heart - with the caveat that we don’t know the terms of his investment into the club and if he’ll ask for it back at some point.
Like the fact that he reinterviewed Edwards and Cartwright, although I’m not sure he had the football nous to necessarily know if Cartwright is spinning him a yarn. I don’t think he, in turn, is really able to pick the players to mould a winning team, with the right character etc. Is he going to have the knowledge of the lower leagues that we need?

Haven't heard the diary yet but just picking up on the local radio comment....I did wonder what RL motive was in putting that tweet out last night I’ll tap in here. We love our friends at RL, especially Oggy. I think it’s maybe an “American” way of what we call “ribbing”. They asked for an interview earlier this week, and with Andre still not resolved along with Kevin leaving Thursday, there just wasn’t time because the diary was always going to be his first extended comments. My last trip there you may remember we went in studio there and sat with them. So the way the tweet went out (I get they have a job to do) made it sound a bit like Kevin was dodging them, which couldn’t be further from the truth. And I’m sure Kevin will sit with Oggy soon enough, maybe even from the US. As far as the “snide comments” go, those were very much directed at two in particular, Duncan and Ginger Ogre, and weren’t meant as snide- just again, lighthearted “ribbing” back. Here’s the thing, and I know some might not like this- decorum isn’t always a strong suit. Whether it’s him or me, if you’re taking a beating from someone, I think it’s ok to talk a little shit back- whether it’s those guys or media or Leeds fans or whatever. That’s just how we are- we can take all kinds of abuse, that’s totally fine, but don’t ask us to just be robots. It’s a serious business, but all the chatter- that is what it is. Never personal, always in fun, and I can tell you KN interacts with the most critical fans constantly. Publicly AND privately. I’ve seen it firsthand. Yeah maybe that’s not how club officials act, but it’s real and authentic and I promise you has nothing to do with what happens on the pitch. As Crash said in Bull Durham: “when you have mold on your shower shoes in the minors, you’re a slob. When you win 20 in the show and have mold on your shower shoes, you’re ‘colorful’. I can promise you when we are winning again we will poke back the same way. Bullies get bullied, and from what I’ve gathered in my short time here, the idea of Town being the “meek little tiny club” ain’t it. Again, not everyone will agree with the style, but it is what it is. There is a line though. I'd love us to start talking ourselves up as a club but that doesn't need to revolve around 'banter' or 'ribbing' of other clubs or our own fans - for what it's worth, Ginger Ogre puts personal time and effort pre and post-match every week in helping build an atmosphere at the ground. I think it's a bit of an American thing, as you allude to, but it does come across as a bit unprofessional. We can be a successful club who puffs its chest out without needing to lay into those 'bullies' in Leeds etc - I can't explain it as it's clearly a cultural thing, but it sort of has the opposite effect. Otherwise, the diary was very fair and some interesting insight. Particularly enthused by the stadium talk. I have no doubt you guys mean the best for everyone involved.

All in all a good interview, 10 x more information than almost any other clubs supporters would get from an owner.
That said I’m massively concerned over the fact the owner constantly praising the performance of a director of football who has delivered a relegation on the back of an absolutely shocking transfer window when he managed to spend a very decent budget on players who were either injury prone or not up to it. He’s also responsible for appointing Darren Moore to come in and play an attacking brand of football and a coach untried in the English League to try and get us out of trouble who in all honesty has been no improvement.
Seemed full of praise for the job Cartwright did at Stoke when it seems their fans in the main thought he was absolutely useless, as well as speaking about his ‘knowledge of the English leagues’ he’s been in the states for 10 years running a Mickey Mouse league. I really like Nagle and think he’s got nothing but the right motives for Town, but sadly think Cartwright and Edwards have pulled the wool over his eyes regards their knowledge of the English game.

End of season diary is up. Dave, I think you or Kevin may have misunderstood the question about owners/directors loans. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think what HTSA were trying to establish was whether the money Kevin is putting into HTAFC was a cash injection or a owners/directors loan, and if it is a loan, is he charging HTAFC interest on that loan? This has happened at certain other football clubs... Could do with an accountant commenting but as I understand it, he can’t just “gift” the club cash. If he wants to introduce funds it has to go down on the balance sheet as a directors loan. You can’t just gift a Ltd company money for no reason, as it literally becomes “unaccountable”, and gives a false position to any accounting. It’s the reason why when owners have already loaned the maximum possible under ffp they do dodgy things like purchasing their stadium at inflated prices on the books. I think the interest on the loans is an interesting point but it would be completely normal to charge interest in these circumstances, but probably at a very low “better than the bank” or “in line with inflation” rate so as not to be to the detriment of his business. Obviously how he chooses to deal with the loans in future is a difficult question to answer, he might choose to write it off every year, more likely it will accumulate on the balance sheet so he can see what his total investment to date is. To be honest, I’m not sure these detailed funding questions are the sort he should have to answer, despite the fact most people don’t understand how businesses work at an accounting level, his finances are personal and no doubt complicated. It should be enough to my mind that people can tell by what he is saying that he is genuine, wants his asset to succeed and we can see he is investing and moving the club forward.

But one individual, isn't doing that. He aired some legitimate concerns at the start of the season, he hasn't abused either of you and he ain't "a total dick". The diary was actually quite refreshing, it was good to hear what Mr. Nagle has to say about the situation we're in and I actually felt a bit more optimistic for the season. But you really let yourselves down by calling out a supporter that has done a hell of a lot for this club over the years and doesn't deserve to be called out by you and Mr. Nagle, nor does he deserve to be lumped in with other bellends that are constantly on the chairman's back and abusing him. I agree it's fair game to give back what you receive, but in that one case (and you know who I'm referring to), I think you're way out of line.

Good to hear that whatever happens, the plan is still to take control of the stadium
Also fair play for saying he had no issue with Andre saying what he did pre Ipswich re the players etc.
Obviously actions speak louder than words, and he can't win regardless of what he does or doesn't say or do, but he seems to be willing to do what hopefully needs doing to get us back up ASAP.
Hopefully we know tomorrow re Andre.

The chairman poked at a great supporter hours after freezing card prices in which the same supporter was very vocal about. Seems like a good trade. And I could be wrong, but I highly doubt that same supporter has any issues whatsoever. Seems a fairly secure cat.

If we had quality professionals in the positions Cartwright and Edwards are currently in, I'd be very optimistic. Even after this relegation I'd believe we'd progress over the next few years.
Nagle is a good guy and I really like him. He wants to turn us into a Prem team but he needs quality staff to create and deliver the plan. He has faith in those two and it's misplaced.

Kev I find is a top bloke. In terms of owners I like Kev the most.
The interview time line seems to start with a poor pre season, a a limited summer transfer window, kept Darren Moore too long, signed plenty of players but injuries came, signed AB, Kev didn’t know about the player toxicity and we were relegated because we draw too many games.
Was disappointed that we didn’t hear
- structure of the squad was wrong all season - Jan transfers weren’t ready to play - decision making on managers was wrong and poorly timed changes - staff turnover created instability and therefore the players toxicity was a symptom of the instability/ lack of consistent leadership

But how anyone on here can have an opinion on on Edwards is performing is very strange. Unless they work for the club and have a knowledge of how he works or whether he's hitting his targets, how would anyone on here have a clue how good, or bad the CEO is performing?

I think it goes without saying the structure wasn’t working The players (most) from the window didn’t all perform well And the turnover/toxicity question is conjecture, whether it’s true or not who knows? As far as submitting questions, I took them from ATT, other supporters, a couple from the media, and here almost equally. And mentioned the board’s questions I believe twice. He had a stadium meeting so we had just under an hour, but I thought he knocked out quite a few

Having just listened, some good and some frustrating. Good: - The communication itself, whether you like or don't like what was said at least it is there. - The academy news sounds bright and I'm glad we have a plan - A canalside price is agreed, it's just when we want to move on it - Season ticket freeze and the reason behind it - The ambition for next year. If he sticks to his word with the spending and budget it sounds very positive. Frustrating: - Andre. He needs to decide what he's doing now with no further delay. If he doesn't have the bottle for it, go. Otherwise get to work fixing the problems. - I don't think Kevin understands the summer squad situation, and I don't think Dave got it either (which isn't a dig at Dave, it isn't his job to know everything). The striker comment is worrying to me. We couldn't play strikers because we started the season with 1 injury prone striker, not because of injuries. It sounds like he's been spun a line by his employees. That is the answer I would have pushed back on the most if I was interviewing. - The local radio comments. IMO either say why what they have said isn't accurate or leave it altogether. Don't make a snide comment but not explain the background.I am pretty neutral on the Edwards and Cartwright comments. He isn't going to come out and slate them so he had to back them (or have already sacked them). Snide comments about certain supporters aren't a good look either. Might not be a good look but some people go way beyond what is an acceptable level of criticism ie being personally insulting using very derogatory language, therefore if people are prepared to dish it then KN & the team are entitled to respond.

Refreshing, genuine and honest I'd say.
I'm a lot less worried than I was a week ago, André or no André at least Kev is in it for the long haul.
Credit where it's due, can any other club say they're being as transparent with their fans as Kev is?
Thanks for being the constant link too, Dave.
