My top three before the start of the season were Stockport, Reading and Charlton while we will finish about 8th/9th unless we get a striker in and quick, then we might finish 7th.

I reckon we're a top level league one striker away from top 3. I still believe the current squad should make the play offs without too much trouble. There are issues that I'm hoping will sort themselves out.

Not to disagree or cause an argument but why? What have those 3 done to suggest they will all finish above Town. I know we imploded last night Birmingham have spent a fuck ton of money on players who look VERY decent for this level (and would actually look good in the division above). Leonard, Yokoyama and Willumson the pick of them but Alfie May is proven at this level. That's in addition to them being on paper too good to go down last season. Bolton consistent improvement year on year, one bad performance at Wembley away from being in the division above. Their new Hungarian winger looks class as well. Charlton gave sold May but replaced with Ahadme who looks very decent. Revamped their midfield as well with Doherty, Berry and Campbell. Underachieved the last few years but the Angry Welsh Goblin does know how to get a tune at this level. Couple of young players in Leaburn and Small who have another year under their belts. We look susceptible to the diagonal ball and someone getting in behind our wing backs looks like a real vulnerability for us. Coincidentally the areas Brum and Bolton in particular look very good. How are you feeling this evening Tinpot? This isn’t a smart arse comment by the way. Just wondering if your reconsidering at all

Ironically, met some Bolton fans on holiday and they said their new Hungarian winger hasn't been great. They didn't fancy their chances at all this season. Moaned that Evatt has now reverted to direct long ball football which is the total opposite of how Dion Charles plays. They reckon they would be safe mid table.

TBF I've only seen Schön on YouTube and that can be misleading. Still young and could just take time to adapt. Hopefully he takes a lot of time because he looked VERY dangerous. They've also got Lolos (who for me was the pick of the impressive Crawley side) and Forino (who we were reportedly in for) from Wycombe. Plus a German fullback who I know nowt about and they've also signed "The other McAtee brother".
