It's called passion, Something your club lacks. The only time more than ten fat men in the famous kilner lol sing is when you play us. What's a Kilner lol? It's a half circle shaped stand full of men who wee their pants uncontrolabley when boothy does the half time draw lol .

Haha, hilarious. So, using your theory, any team who's fans don't cry if they beat a local team from a highere league in a cup game has no passion? Hilarious. Same goes for your singing comment, as though you go to every home game so have some sort of idea. No i read this board, also my pal goes to every game down at the farm and he said atmosphere is shit. So based on this board and what 1 person says, you believe that only 10 people in 1 stand sing unless we play you? Are you sure you aren't suffering from some sort of mental illness?

I wonder if Robins will let the City players into our dressing room after the game to get a shirt?

I personally like Chicken - Occassionally her posts really liven up a dull forum.
Hope the match is on TV as I won't be able to get up for this one.

To be fair, they did outnumber the home support at 3 away games last season. The Rose And crown, The Dog and Duck, and East Ardsley Womens Institute.

We can only hope they're concentrating on the Johnstone's Paint Trophy so put out a weakened team

At last a proper derby game where the hatred will be reciprocated, not one way like the Leeds games. Mind you half the people on here remind me of Leeds fans with their arrogance of thinking we're a big club.

Well that might be a bit difficult, what with some of the players on the pitch that day having left the club.

I'll be in Spain - potentially three home games missed including the cup tie. Shocking holiday planning, must tell the Mrs to consult the Football league website for Season dates for next years holiday !!

Brought the hols forward a bit this year and what did they do- bring the start of the season forward. It really isn't great thinking by the FL. Anyone with kids (or with a wife who works in a school) HAS to go on their jollies in the 6 week holiday. Starts July 23rd roughly. So unless youre only going for a week away it forces you to miss the start of the season. Why not kick off in mid- late august?

If the season starts later, you are left with a lot of Sat-Tues-Sat-Tues fixtures. Clubs generally don't want it. Season is planned for 4 years in advance in terms of calendar dates. If the season was later every season, there would be very little prep for international tournaments. Then an even smaller pre-season. All about money and FIFA/UEFA

'Its the league that matters', yeah you're right, but there is nothing wrong with progressing in the cups. From your daft statement I assume you think we are in for a struggle this time again? By the way, I was in Paddy Power yesterday and the odds for the Leageu Cup were up on their self service machines and Town are 200/1, worth 2 quid. Got to remember the last 2 finals have been contested by at least 1 football league team in each final (Cardiff and Bradford), so its not beyond the realms of possibillity.

SHOULD BE A GOOD CROWD THOUGH BUT COUDNT CARE ABOUT THE RESULT. Can't see it being a big crowd. We never get big crowds in August, when families are away on holiday. It is usually the 2nd or 3rd league game in before our crowds pick up. It might be even later this time with the season starting very early.

The season is starting early on the request of the clubs, they asked for a night fixture to be dropped and the only way to accomodate this was to start early. Besides,it wouldn't surprise me if our season finished in late April this time because of the World Cup. I haven't seen the Football League calendar but it wouldn't come as a shock, although that would negate the benifit of an early start, as they'd still have to get another night fixture in to make up for the early finish.

Love the cup final jibes. We were actually in a cup final in February. When did the massive Huddersfield Town last make the final of a major cup competition?
You've had no real success since the 1920's where most of you lot are still living. The fact is you are more pleased to be playing us than we are you which is pretty sad considering what what a great team you have with a far superior set of fans...*snigger*

I like how Bradford count relegation from the top flight and then a cup hammering as a success. It's cute.
